Authentic Mid-Century Marvel, in the quiet and desirable Mid Town neighborhood.

What's not to like about this wonderful mid-century modern home. The house itself was so authentic for the time period and was super clean. The owners were amazingly friendly and very thoughtful. Bonus was, we got to meet the owner before we left. Super nice. We will definitely be staying again if we return to the Bend area.

I really enjoyed all of the books and magazines that were from the 50's and 60's. Excellent place. Great location.

The owners have a true love with the fifties. It functions as much like a museum as a rental. I wouldn’t be surprised to discover the owner was a set decorator for a theater! It works, it’s outside the hustle and bustle of central Bend, which is probably good in summer. The drive into the core is pretty short.

By far the best curated concept VRBO we have ever stayed in. A real trip down memory lane for us GenXers. Beds were verry comfortable and the French Press at any rental always a plus for coffee snobs like us. The location makes it super easy to get around town. Will definitely go back.

Every detail was mid century. Close to downtown. Very happy with the accommodations. Would recommend.

Great place. Minute we pulled into driveway we were greeted by a beautiful deer and a bunny by the front door. Real life Bambi.

Very nice, enjoyed it. Comfortable, only surprise was no AC and no dishwasher but extremely well stocked. Owners very congenial.

Very cool stay in a safe neighborhood. Home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, lots of games, a full kitchen, lots of towels, and cool decor. Would def recommend!

We loved the ambiance of the mid-century vibe. Better than what we anticipated. So much nostalgic decor. It was comfortable and felt lived in--in a good way. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us.

Very cool and well maintained mid-century. House, decorations, furniture, books, record player and more. It makes you feel like you've gone back in time to the 60's for a chill relaxing stay. Very convenient location. Just minutes to anything you want in Bend.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this gem. I was taken in with the pictures on the walls, the art, the books and the many vintage appliances. The home is meticulously maintained. Despite having some updates and modern appliances and furnishings, I felt like I was in a living museum. It was charming. Hoping we can come back and stay here again sometime soon!

The house was clean, owners were great with communication and just an overall awesome experience. We even had a five point buck hanging out in the yard keeping an eye on the place while we out for the day! Close enough to town to get everywhere easily and far enough out it was very quiet and peaceful.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delightful this house was. The furniture, magazines, games, etc. were a throwback to the mid-1900s. I did not realize how much I would enjoy this--well put together and an enjoyable place to stay.

We had a great stay at Daniel’s property. He was quick to respond to our booking request and the house was nicely decorated. We would highly recommend it!

Our hosts weren't kidding when they listed that the house was truly mid century modern! down to every last detail. They checked to see if we arrived ok and then again later in the week to see if we needed anything! As well as a thank you follow up. Great location and cute neighborhood. Lots of info about the house and the area in their welcome notebook. Thanks for a nice visit!

When we first arrived we could smell gas. We had to open all doors and air out the house. After that we tried to use the oven to heat up our dinner. The oven would not stay lit. Nor would the stove work properly. We called the owner to report these issues and he was unwilling to do anything about the problems. We eventually called the gas company to Check Out the gas issues. They found a severe leak at the fireplace and turned off the gas to the whole house. Since the owner was unwilling to Do anything about the problems VRBO had to step in and move us to another property.
