Aspen House

There was a lot of floorspace to spread out ski gear, and the property manager was very responsive to our questions.

Wonderful stay at the Aspen house with family and our dog. Large home with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has been recently updated, attaching photos as the ones in the listed don't do it justice. Well stocked, had all kitchenware for the meals we prepped there. The beautiful Aspens surrounding the home give it a great sense of privacy. Like the very easy access to Crested Butte proper with a 15 minute drive up the road while being a bit away from the main drag. Camp 4 coffee was a short 5 minute walk from the home and was a wonderful daily start. Tons of beautiful hikes within 30-45min of the location, perfect place to have base while you explore the region. Hosts were very accommodating when I accidentally booked the wrong dates.

Property was fantastic, fresh update to the kitchen was a surprise, the house more than met our needs.

This is our second time staying here over Christmas holiday. It is a great and comfortable spot for my family and has great access to CB, skiing, Gunnison, restaurants, etc.

Quaint and in a good location.

The house is very comfortable for 6 adults (all related). The house was very clean and neat upon arrival. I had a couple of questions for the property manager and they were answered very quickly. The main room has ample seating options and is right off the kitchen so people preparing a meal can easily participate in the conversation in the main room. A nice wood stove generates a lot of heat and makes the main room comfy. The kitchen has lots of counter space for food preparation. The only issue with the kitchen is that the knives were not sharp and we didn't have a way to sharpen them. Next time, I would bring a roller sharpener. The beds were very comfortable, with the exception of the twin beds (but these were two tall men sleeping there, probably fine for smaller people). Very convenient to CB skiing - 10 minutes to the town center transit station, 15 minutes to the parking lot for the ski lifts. Overall, a wonderful house. I would rent it again when we return to CB.

The cabin was just as advertised. It is in a cute neighborhood of similar properties. There is ample room for everyone to spread out and each room is good sized. The kitchen has most of what you need: plenty of hand towels, pans, Pyrex, etc. might want to bring your own plastic storage for left overs and the occasional missing utensil such as a wisk, potato peeler, etc. Both bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Plenty of hot water as long as you space showers out. Internet works well. The host gives you a great starter set of dish and hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper. We had one small maintenance problem which was addressed promptly. All in all a great stay! Suggestions: time for an oven and stovetop replacement.

CB is a beautiful town. We had great trip, making this home ours for 3 nights. Though old, this property has rustic feel to it. It’s well stocked and clean. Walks around CB South were safe and pleasant. Overall a great stay for our group of 7.

Super nice to have a house without the commonplace HOA parking restrictions that you find in CB. House is not renovated but has a lot of charm and the hosts were super friendly. Great fireplace and yard too. One note - the master bedroom's bathroom fan can trip the breaker and kill the internet and power in that bedroom. The reset switch is on the outlet itself near that bathroom door. Very little phone service so was an important note.
