Aspen House

The house, the welcome we received and views were amazing. Everything was as described and this was a perfect house and location for our family of adults.

Wonderful house with amazing views of the lake and Remarkable mountains

In fairness we actually didn’t stay at the property as the host failed to provide access to the property and remained uncontactable on the day of check-in. Obviously this created unnecessary stress for my family of 8 adults and 1 child as we sought to find alternative accommodation for the 3 nights of our intended stay in Queenstown. Fortunately, the VRBO care policy ensured that we received an immediate refund and covered the increase in cost for alternative accommodation which we were eventually able to secure after a considerable search. Whilst the host eventually responded the next day and offered for us to stay free of charge, we had already committed one night accomodation at our hotel and would have incurred cancellation fees for the remaining nights. We were also settled as a family and did not want further disruption to our holiday. To say we were disappointed really is an understatement. As a host if you are intending to be out of the country during a rental period, for goodness sake organise a local contact, and make sure the phone number you have listed is reachable.

Great house, incredible views, handy location with easy access to town but also a local shop and bar/restaurant etc.Plenty of space and everything required to feel right at home straight away.

We were thoroughly delighted with the house - sensational views and everything we could need to ensure we had an enjoyable, hassle-free stay. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances easy to operate. There was plenty of glassware and crockery etc and we really liked the little dishes for pre-dinner nibbles.The walk up the hill is bit of a challenge but the no.1 bus from 'downtown' is a good alternative.Snow was disappointing but breathtaking views from the top and 'interesting' roads made it all worthwhile.We would recommend a trip to Arrowtown and Glenorchy (another great drive).

We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. The amenities were great and the house was well presented with everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake and The Remarkables was something else, absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend this property.

What a great home with amazing views of the lake & mountains & close to the town centre. It was clean & home had the best heating.

The house was everything we hoped for. A bathroom for every bedroom just brilliant. The view is truly amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub too

Blown away. The view was insane. The house was so clean. It was very comfortable for us five adults with the four bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice path to get into town, or an easy walk up to the market and nearby restaurant. Very helpful host and property manager. They thought of everything to make for a lovely stay.

Perfect for our Hens bridal weekend. Lots of personal privacy, foxs could hide in separate rooms off a long hall, lots of bathrooms. Kitchen living dining great for a big group, very homey. Nice big Deck with the Remarkables view. Dissapointingly the SPA wasn't working (thats a reason i chose it......)- i didn't stay in the house long enough to find out what else was not up to brief. I think Poor form Queenstown for not delivering what you promise in your offers.

We had an excellent stay and we had everything we needed. The view was stunning, the house was warm and comfortable, and the amenities were great.

Aspen house is a stunning residence that allows you to soak in the magic of Aotearoa. We literally woke up to the long white cloud skimming across the lake! The house is so spacious and THE cleanest accommodation I've stayed in. Especially for such a large house. We're looking forward to visiting again! Thank you!

We loved our stay at your property. We had a group of 8 ladies and everything about the accommodation was perfect. Those views from the master bedroom and living area are incredible. We will definitely be back!!

What a fantastic house! The views were absolutely breathtaking. The house had everything we could hope for. Extremely well set up to cater for 2 families of 4 with ensuite’s for each room! Spa was also a great bonus after a day on the slopes. Have raved on about this place to my friends. Definitely recommend it.

This house was lovely and warm and had all the comforts of home. Well equipped and laid out for our group of friends and family. The views are spectacular and we would come back and stay again next time we are in Queenstown.

Great property located close to the town centre with spectacular views of snow capped mountains. The hosts went above and beyond to help provide everything we may need for two children under 3. Will happily stay here again.

Wow! This house is beautiful and the lake view is truly stunning. The host was very easy to work with and responsive. The house is within walking distance to a market and restaurants. Sit it the huge great room and enjoy the fireplace as you watch the activity on the water below. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out too. Relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine. Queenstown is a short Lyft ride away. Your stay in this house will not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Aspen House exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very comfortable with underfloor heating as well as ensuites. The balcony provided us with breakfast with a grand view of Lake Wakatipu. The hot tub was private but still overlooked the lake. Would definitely recommend for families or groups. 10/10.
