Centrally located in the heart of Ashland, this cozy, thoughtfully updated retreat features 2 beautifully styled bedrooms with queen beds and soft, high-quality bedding, a bright and spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a full bathroom, and a well-equipped, stylish kitchen. Walking distance to Southern Oregon University and Ashland’s vibrant cultural scene—ideal for both relaxation and adventure!

Beyond its charm and creative touches, the home has been consciously updated to support a naturally clean and refreshing environment. Filtered drinking water is provided through a dedicated kitchen tap. Eco-friendly, non-toxic materials have been used throughout, and the space is free from artificial fragrances. Thoughtfully maintained with natural cleaning and personal care products, the home offers a mindful retreat that is as healthy as it is inviting.

Enjoy two separate outdoor patios, including a fenced area with a fire pit and string lights, perfect for sipping morning coffee or unwinding beneath the stars. Off-street parking is also provided for your convenience.

Guests have access to the entire first floor, including the cozy living room with a woodstove, a well-appointed kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom with a bathtub, a convenient laundry area, and all outside patios and courtyards.

The owner maintains the upstairs as a private suite that is not accessible to guests. However, the home is not a shared space, and the owner will not be on-site during guest stays, ensuring complete privacy throughout your visit. There is a locked cleaning closet and cupboards that are also reserved for owner’s personal belongings and cleaning supplies.

While you relax, you may encounter a couple of the property’s friendly feline residents. These outdoor cats occasionally wander by to say hello, adding a touch of charm to your stay.

I’m available to assist with any questions or issues that may arise, but I respect guests’ privacy and won’t interfere or interact unless needed.

The house was comfortable and spotless. Comfortable bed, plenty of space to relax and excellent water pressure in the shower. Easy on-street parking right in front. Cute seating area in the back with deer visitors as an added bonus. Walk to Morning Glory for breakfast (5 minutes), walk to SOU and minutes by car to downtown and wineries. We would stay here again!

The property was very clean, well stocked with most needed items, TVs were great with sound bars, the heating and air system was amazing in the 100 degree heat outside and 69 degree inside, overhead fans were appreciated. Neighborhood was quiet.

The house is just darling, and very comfortable to live in. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of goodies to cook with. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the area felt safe. The house even has a piano! The Midtown location was convenient to everything. The owner was very responsive and congenial. Had a very nice stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s well supplied with kitchen needs, lots of towels and a comfy feeling. We chose it for its walkable location and that did not disappoint, especially when we discovered Morning Glory, a delightful breakfast spot.We didn’t know what to do about the cats at the back door, but they disappeared; someone must have fed them. Another review mentioned the touchy entry pad- we learned a very light touch takes the problem away.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ashland. The house was clean and had some thoughtful, unique touches—like the coin-inlaid bathroom floor, a well-equipped kitchen with filtered water, and a beautiful dining table that was perfect for board games with the family. We did hit a few snags early on. The electronic keypad was overly sensitive, and after three failed attempts to get in, our anxiety was high. Clearer, step-by-step instructions would help a lot. Once we figured it out, it worked fine the rest of the trip.We were also surprised there wasn’t a welcome sheet with WiFi info, house rules, or check-out instructions. I had to contact the host and wait several hours just to get online. Later, two cats showed up at the kitchen door—friendly, but unexpected. A note explaining their presence and feeding needs would’ve been helpful. There were helpful labels around the house, but my wife struggled to turn the shower on. I figured it out thanks to past experience, but others might not think to check beneath the spout. The location was a big plus—we could walk to the grocery store and theater, which made exploring Ashland super convenient.Overall, with just a few improvements to communication and instructions, this would be a near-perfect rental. We'd happily return.
