Stayed Jun 24, 2025We invited our children and grandchildren to stay with us. The house was perfect; the setting extraordinary; the amenities abundant! We would like to return. We saw twin fawns, bald eagles, white pelicans,… The bats were fun to watch.

Stayed May 26, 2025Blown away! Amazing lodge deep in the woods. I only gave the Accuracy of Online Listing three stars - not five - because it truly does not do the property justice. If I were to design my own lodge - it would look a lot like this. The interior is well thought out and decorated wonderfully. With a creek, a pond and a lake! This is an incredible property with bocce ball, fire pits, fire places, a game room, huge trees, stars galore and tons of good vibes. No mosquitos as the bats took care of them. The frogs croaking at night was beautiful. Shooting stars. Bald eagles. We had a mini family reunion and everyone had a blast. And renting a pontoon boat at nearby Lake of the Woods was so fun. If you need a good dose of nature and fresh air, this is the spot. Wished I brought my mountain bike - or road bike - both look epic.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property is majestic and serene. The outdoor space is amazing with the sound of the creek flowing and the beautiful forest, wildlife, and lake. The house outside architecture is really nice and well thought out. The beds were all very comfortable and the open areas both upstairs and down were great for sitting with the family and enjoying each other's company. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you need to cook or prepare your favorite meals. I can't say enough great things about this home. Our experience was great!!! The only issue we had was that the trash can by the road was already full upon arrival, but we managed it and my door code never worked. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Phone service is spotty at best but the home has starlink wifi which worked great. We really enjoyed the old family pics, books, and old bibles in the home. All in all the property was very inviting and we plan on coming back in the future! Bye for now form Texas.

Stayed Oct 4, 2023We absolutely loved the house and all of the amazing outdoor space. It was great to have a fire in the outdoor fireplace and the kitchen was well stocked. The accommodations were great. The house is quite a drive from Ashland on winding roads - so keep that in mind for your trip planning
