Stayed Jan 16, 2026Amazing stay! We were a group of 9 women and we loved the house. 4 of us slept upstairs in 3 bedrooms and 5 of us slept downstairs across 3 bedrooms. The upstairs and downstairs units do not connect from the inside but easily accessible from the porch steps - the downstairs sleepers came up each morning for breakfast and gathering (plenty of living space and kitchen downstairs, we just didn’t have much use, mostly gathered upstairs). (Beautiful sunrise off the porch side if you’re an early riser!) We spent a lot of time cooking in the well equipped kitchen and hanging out around the huge dining table. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all - lots of towels! We used the hot tub!Plenty of parking on the back side of the house, we kept the front driveway clear for Ubers/lyfts.The host could not have been more hospitable - he was highly responsive leading up to and during our stay. He also shared the contact info of the local property manager and she was helpful and responsive as well.We enjoyed the location - accessible to downtown and had no problem getting Ubers/lyfts to go out and enjoy the local brewery scene. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Stayed Oct 30, 2025This home is a true gem! Every corner we turned there was a new amazing piece of art. We had 4 couples and two stayed downstairs and two upstairs and everyone had plenty of space. The fire pit and hot tub were great places to hang out and BOTH kitchens are well stocked. We are all in agreement that we are coming back here one day!

Stayed Oct 22, 2025This is a great house for a large group! We had 12 adults staying in the house and had plenty of space (and bathrooms!) for all of us. With the host’s permission we hosted a garden party for a group of 25 one evening during our stay. The outdoor space was perfect for this! The house has two kitchens which made food prep easy. Both kitchens are very well stocked with utensils, serving dishes, and cooking supplies not to mention lots of spices and cooking oils. Mike (the host) was awesome! There was a water problem our first night there that was solved by the time we returned from dinner. He also made sure to have the lawn mowed for us before our event. From booking through check out he was easily accessible through the VRBO website. This is an awesome house!

Stayed Oct 10, 2025The Potter’s House was a family friendly location in Asheville which was near all of sites we planned to visit. Ex. Grove Park Inn, Biltmore Estate, Nature Center, and Downtown Asheville. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family. The beautiful art throughout the house enhanced our stay. My grandsons especially enjoyed having their own “apartment!”

Stayed May 1, 2025Host was incredibly helpful as we navigated the immense damage due to Hurricane Helene. He was great about moving our dates forward and put us in a bigger house due to the original house still needing repair. Mike and his property manager Cara are excellent. Great team. They were quick to fix things and wanted feedback so they could continue to recover from the damage. Asheville needs tourists and they are open! We had a wonderful weekend strolling downtown and visiting the Grove Park Inn. Highly recommend! We will go back!

Stayed Jul 25, 2024The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and close enough to downtown to make this the perfect stay for our group of 8 friends. The house is divided into two apartments so you really feel like you have privacy and space. Check in was easy and communication was great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed Jul 1, 2024The Potter’s House was exceeded our expectations. The art around the house makes you feel like you are someplace special. The kitchen is well-stocked with all that you need to cook meals and the bathrooms are well-stocked with lots of towels and shampoo. The great room was a perfect room for our extended family to gather, eat, read, and play games during our stay. I would highly recommend Mike as a host.

Stayed Jun 3, 2024We loved this location, which was just as close to Asheville as advertised on the listing. The entire listing we thought was exactly right - great kitchens (2 of them), separate living areas up and downstairs and a house filled with art. Responsive owner, too.
