Arkansas Lakeside Stay-cation! Relax,Bike,Golf,Kayak,Swim or Chat by the Fire!

The driveway was intimidating but proximity to the water was worth it. We loved how close it was to biking for kiddos and adults! The smell of incense was a bit strong in the basement but overall an amazing property. I definitely think we’ll be back!

This home felt like home. There were so many thoughtful touches! Furniture was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Gorgeous views and accessibility to the dock. Above all, this house was immaculately clean. I dropped something that rolled under a bed, and as I reached for it, the wood floors were completely spotless. Zero dust bunnies or cobwebs in corners like other places that aren’t a big deal but can tell not deep cleaned. The owners truly maintain this home, and it shows!

Second time at this VRBO and loved every minute of it! Will certainly be booking it again for our next family trip to Arkansas.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made it easy to start to settle in. The property is very well equipped. There were plenty of the usual pots and pans, and other implements. In addition (and unexpectedly) there were the essentials for personal grooming. The property is roomy with two separate areas for gathering, game playing, etc. so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. Property is right on the lake with its own dock so you can play on and in the water as much as you want. Great place for your gathering and the hosts are great!

The hosts were excellent and communication was great. We were visiting our daughter in Fayetteville and also celebrating our anniversary. The house and set up was wonderful and very peaceful. Beautiful views and the location let us explore the attractions in the region around us. Thanks for the opportunity to visit!

This is our second time to stay here. We enjoy the view of the lake and the dock located on the property. The house is comfortable, clean and very well stocked. We will be back!

The location on the lake is excellent and the access from the house to the lake is very good. The largest dock space on the whole lake, was great for lounging relaxing, etc.

Absolutely beautiful!! The moment you walk in the door you are hit with that million dollar view. Everything in the house is exactly as described. Wonderful space, almost like two complete houses. The lake is gorgeous and the fact that it is a no wake lake made it perfect for what we wanted. If you are on a kayak, paddle board, or heck even air mattress you can float till your heart is content and never have to worry about any boats or jet skis zooming around you. Plus it made it so quiet and peaceful. We went and spent several hours at the beach one day which was awesome. It is sand all the way out as far as we could touch. My grandson (7) has wanted to go to a beach and now he can say that he has. By the first day we were already talking about wanting to rent it again.

Great vacation spot! The kids went swimming in the lake everyday. The fireflies were magical in the backyard! We would have gladly stayed longer and next year we plan to.

This was our species time staying at this property and it never disappoints! It is absolutely beautiful and our family was excited to return. The proximity and access to the lake is perfect. The kids have so much fun kayaking and fishing. We will definitely be back!

The Moon Dance Cottage has plenty of big windows and an upstairs balcony and downstairs porch that provide a beautiful view of Lake Avalon. There is a nice deck on the lake with comfortable chairs and kayaks, paddle board, and lifejackets close by and plenty of beach towels. The house is spacious with comfortable beds and and a kitchen upstairs and down. Although an older home, it has a nice lakeside vibe to it! Our group had a wonderful time there. Note to older folks: the stairs and rock steps down to the deck are steep and the driveway is, too. But our young at heart group managed them. The house has a room with bunk beds that makes it a great place for a family with older children and teens.The property managers are very nice and made check in easy. They extended our check out time on Sunday when we asked. I should mention that the price to rent is hard to beat. Thank you Kevin and Penny for sharing your lovely home with us.

Stayed for graduation weekend with the extended family (Woo Pig!). Beautiful views! What a way to start my mornings. Great house that was well appointed. Having a dock and fire pit just added to the experience. Highly recommended - will stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! It was well equipped for fun on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys and life vests. We enjoyed the bonfire with provided wood, and the area was beautiful! The communication from the property owners was prompt, organized and efficient. Would highly recommend for large families or groups! Gorgeous views!

Our stay at this beautiful lakehouse in Bella Vista was absolutely perfect! The home was clean, cozy, and decorated with such thoughtful, charming details—it felt like a true retreat from the moment we walked in. The multiple wood-burning fireplaces made for the perfect ambiance during the chilly weather, and we loved curling up by the fire after a day of exploring.Mornings were magical, with breathtaking sunrises over Lake Avalon enjoyed right from the dock. We spent time fishing off the dock, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and soaking up the beauty of the spring blossoms in the yard and surrounding trees. The nearby walking trails provided a great way to explore nature, and the location was ideal for visiting Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and taking a day trip to Eureka Springs.The house was also perfect for families, with plenty of kids’ games and activities to keep everyone entertained. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back!Highly recommend this lakehouse to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat in Bella Vista! Great lake place with everything you might need. All 4 of us adults had plenty of space of our own. We used the lakeside grill most nights and made breakfast in the main kitchen each morning. Nice hiking trails and golf courses near by. Loads of other amenities we didn’t get a chance to use. Would definitely book again next time we’re in the area or with the family.

Had a very relaxing stay on Lake Avalon. Property was clean, quiet, super private and just right for our family vacation. Easy access to all things Bentonville as well as great hiking trails nearby.

The house is huge! Two full living spaces. The balcony overlooking the lake is amazing! Property owners were great to work with and responded promptly to all communication.

We had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake as well as enjoying the innumerable trails and outdoor activities nearby. The house was cozy and inviting with tons of places to rest and relax. I would note that this is probably not a great place for small children (3 and under) due to the steep backyard

I did a weeks’ stay with family and kids. It’s a great location, and was the perfect lake spot to let kids swim and play. LOVED that the owners had lots of lake gear and that they let guests use it - paddle boards, kayaks, floaties, and lots of life jackets. There’s also a really nice pool table under a covered driveway all of us liked getting to use. Owner was responsive to texts and questions and was great to work with. We could have used a few more blankets to go with the sheets we used on the pull out beds, and it would be great if some of the lights on the upper screened in porch were replaced to give more light for the evenings. All in all, definitely recommend as a place to bring the family for a great week!

We loved sitting on the deck gazing at the sparkling water and enjoying the cool fall breeze. The location was perfect, close to trails, golf, grocery and highway access. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a girl's weekend for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was a great place to stay with room for us all to have our own room and also enjoy the common areas and outdoors. Pros: - Good amount of space for everyone - Great views and access to the lake - A/C and ceiling fans worked great - Board games available - Two kitchens with easy access to the lake-view patios - Well-stocked kitchen with most everything needed to cook breakfast and one dinner that we made there - Good value for the location and number of rooms - Laundry access - Paddleboards and kayaks were free to use, which was great - Dock was easy to access with the stairs and was enjoyable to hang out on near the water - Easy access to hiking trails - Had a 10-cup coffee pot and a Keurig - Had general spices needed and non-stick cooking spray and other basics, which was great Cons - Overall the home and furnishings are dated (which is likely reflected by the price) - The patio furniture wasn't super comfortable, made wanting to sit out on the patio for extended periods less appealing. Plenty of seating, but none had significant cushion for relaxing for extended periods (we were there in fall, so it was nice to sit outside) - Feels like the outdoor space could have used some sprucing up; overgrown landscaping, etc. - Didn't have a baking dish to use (like a pyrex/cake pan style) but we ended up making do with a turkey roasting pan, so it worked. Great value with the location being right on the lake.

House was very clean and had everything needed. Really liked the lakefront access. They provide everything needed to enjoy the lake including kayaks, floats, and a paddle board. Really enjoyed the time spent here with family and friends. We woukd definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Mildred B Cooper Chapel. It was a perfect location. We were 10 minutes away from the Chapel. We loved that it was pet friendly, so we could take our Wheaten with us. The place was super clean & was very cozy. It was also well stocked with plentiful linens & a well stocked kitchen for your cooking needs.

We stayed here two years in a row, and it's just gorgeous and so welcoming.

Good porches with easy access to dock

Absolutely beautiful setting with everything you need for fun on the lake. The house was set up perfectly for my large family and we had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Stay here, you can’t go wrong.

Perfect lake house. Right on the water, all the amenities you need for an awesome lake vacation. Close to all the area attractions. Great host as well.

We (2 adults and 4 teenagers) enjoyed our stay in Bella Vista. There was enough to do at the house that we didn’t feel the need to find other things to go do. The teens loved being on Lake Avalon with the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided. The boys enjoyed fishing and caught several fish. The girls enjoyed floating on the lake. Our last day, we went to the Tanyard hiking trail and had a great time exploring the “pig pen“ and playing in the water near the falls. The house has plenty of space. My husband and I loved the screened-in porch and quickly decided that was our favorite spot. We could keep our eyes on the kids while they were having fun on the lake, but we mostly enjoyed the view. One morning, while sitting on the porch, we saw an eagle flying above the water on the lake. We definitely recommend staying at this house on Lake Avalon.
