The floorplan was good particularly the basement was nicely done. Fireplace with wood was a great addition. Location was good as well but is more for summer. In winter it could be a disadvantage. The day we left, it started snowing and there was no cleaning of snow in the neighborhood. The roads with severe slopes and covered with snow were very treacherous to pass. The 2 stars are only given because of the floorplan and location. The cleanliness was no where close to the price we paid. There was booger on a bedsheet we tried to use. The utensils were not clean. My wife ran dishwasher and washed all utensils before we used any. We used our own paper products where possible. The liquid hand soap in all the bathrooms except basement was mixed with water. The water pressure in the bathrooms was very low. In fact the water completely stopped in the second floor bathroom in the middle on me taking a shower and I had to wait for several minutes in the cold before it started dripping. The heater in one of the rooms stopped in the middle of the night due to unknown reason and the room was very cold in the morning. Probably timer or something on the heater remote was activated. The remotes were not very user friendly and since the kids used the room they did not know until morning. Some of the mattresses were very bad. I used a mattress in a different room on the third night and my back hurted almost for a week. Hot tub took a complete day before water temp became useful.

Hot tub and the lake were great! Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Only comments I have are that the water pressure on the 2nd floor was too low to shower and walking down to the lake could use some stairs. We had an amazing trip and enjoyed the house amenities! Communication with the hosts was fast and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jose and Jennifer’s place. The house was amazing and exceptionally clean, with everything feeling well cared for and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was excellent—their responses were very fast and helpful throughout our stay. The area is great, quiet, and convenient, and the brand‑new hot tub was a fantastic bonus that we really enjoyed. The home also had thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome and truly at ease. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and high‑quality stay.

Jose was very welcoming, constantly kept us informed with weekly emails up until our arrival and the amenities were beyond what we expected. It was 0 degrees out but we still went in the hot tub and had a beautiful fire all weekend long. An amazing way to spend a cold weekend with friends.

We had a big group of ladies retreat for a weekend during a snowy winter visit, and it was wonderful. We were cozy with the fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, and spent time relaxing and eating together. Jose was very proactive and responsive to address all our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the overall vibe of the home . Clean. High ceilings, wood paneling , view of sunrise over the lake, Fire place, Natural sunlight . Quiet and peaceful. Looks better in person !! Jose was extremely responsive and assisted when needed. It’s on a hill so a bit steep for young children. bring your own sleds and toys for children young children along with any spices/ condiments/oil , aluminum foil, parchment paper that you may need We would definitely return again and bring our friends ! We’ve had our share of VRBO stays but have never had more attentive hosts. Jose and Jennifer were very proactive seeing that he had all kinds of information to make our stay at the house as well as the area as enjoyable as possible. We had a few how to questions for them when we arrived their response time was immediate. The house was great with a lot of what looked like, recent upgrades. We were a group of 13 there was plenty of space to gather as a group and plenty of room for personal space. We had a fantastic weekend. Jose & Jennifer went out of their way to ensure that.

Jose and Jennifer were always extremely responsive, leading up to and during the stay. We had no issues and the house was perfect for our group of 10.

The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our family gathering. The host responded to messages promptly.

I genuinely had an amazing time. There was plenty to do in this area and the view for sunrise was beautiful. Everything was very clean from the kitchen to the floors and the hot tub. I highly recommend this place and I’m looking forward to coming here again for the future.

We had a great stay at this property. It was spacious enough for my group of 6 to all feel like we had our own space, but also felt very cozy. We loved the lake view and had fun with the canoe. The sound bar on the TV was a little tricky to figure out, but otherwise everything worked as it should.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host was always available and very attentive. The house was beautiful with so much to do, the kids were never bored. The hot tub was spotless. The community and lake were so peaceful. Every day we had deer right in the yard. Highly recommend for a family or just a peaceful getaway! I can’t say enough, thank you for a great time!

We stayed in this beautiful place this weekend for our sister’s birthday and it was the most beautiful and peaceful place that we have ever see! A lot of things to do and places to go, we went to Bushkill Falls and we did a lot of activities. They were so helpful and always helped us to have the best experience!!!!! We will come back again here!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Jennifer and Jose's place. The house was extremely clean and well looked after. We didn't think the pictures did the place justice for how neat, organized and thought out the home was. Jennifer and Jose were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful, welcoming and organized. They also provided us with extra information regarding the surrounding area and where we could find food, drink or entertainment. If we had any questions, they answered quickly and accurately. It is clear just how important their guests and their stay is to them! We had 11 people travel for the weekend and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the home. We would definitely recommend this home for future stays!

Beautiful place with great vibes. So many things to do on premises, including boating, arcades, fire pit, hot tub, etc.

We had a wonderful time and used all possible amenities during our stay. Kayaks, canoes and fishing for the cousins and uncles. The access by the beach to the lake was great for everyone including Grandparents! Hot tub for everyone. The game room was convenient for the kids and adults. We had all three generations sitting by the fire pit having s’mores, playing guitar and singing. Access to the community pool was wonderful and the hot tub on the property was put to use too!I would definitely recommend this property and the owners were friendly and responsive.

Great hosts! Responsive, helpful, and kind. My family had a great weekend over Memorial Day. The weather was on the cold and rainy side for this time of year but the basement had all the kids fully entertained! I highly recommend their place for families. We had a few ping pong championships along with PAC Man last man standing tournaments. The location for local hikes and neighborhood amenities is perfect.

This home is a great location with lots to enjoy about it.

Their home was everything we looked for during a quick Mother’s Day getaway for the weekend. We had 10 people. Place was great and had everything we needed. Felt spacious. Game room was fun. We went out on the lake for a bit and fished a little. Fire pit was fun and used the grill for some dinner. Overall it’s a beautiful location with everything you need. We would come again.

We were 3 couples over 55 who enjoyed the nicely stocked kitchen, awesome game room and beautiful dock. The weather didn’t cooperate but the firepit area was great and the scenery was excellent. We enjoyed the deck, the s’mores basket (indoors due to rain :/)) and would recommend this property. The heading was comfortable, the furniture worked out great and the free streaming was nice too!

This house was beautiful! It was very spacious with a lot of rooms. The king bed was also very comfortable. It was in a nice location and Jennifer & Jose were very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, they had surprised us with s’mores for the fire pit, which was so nice :) we had a lot of fun with the ping pong and foosball tables! We also loved fishing from the dock on the lake. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very cute and well maintained home. Loved the direct lake access and kayaks/canoe/paddleboat. Kids really enjoyed the playroom, kept them entertained when it was colder/rainy. Host was very communicative and attentive.

Stayed at Olibear during the frigid February winter recess. Just 2 hours outside of NYC, it was easy to get to. The house is spacious, well laid out and organized and there’s something for everyone. We enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, ping pong and foosball. While this was a lovely winter getaway, this would make for an epic summer rental as it’s right on a lake and really designed for summer enjoyment. Jennifer & Jose were great hosts: they responded quickly and assisted us from afar as we needed.

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautiful: updated, well decorated, and very clean with incredible amenities for a family with kids. We had a great mini winter getaway: hot tub was really refreshing and we had a lovely cozy time indoors with the game room, books, working fireplace, and entertainment system (even more than advertised!). Bedrooms and bathrooms were set up beautifully with plenty of towels, complimentary shampoo/soap, with an optional pack and play. Lots of space to relax and recharge and the decor really boosts the mountain cabin vibe! Hosts were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Thanks for such a great stay!

We had a great weekend staying at Jennifer & Jose's house! We had 8 children of all ages with us, and they all really enjoyed playing in the basement. We all loved using the hot tub, which was probably the highlight for the adults in the group! The rec center pool was an added bonus. We took some of the kids there on both weekend days. It was an easy and hassle free activity.

The house was everything I expected if not More! Great amenities and clean. Only problem we had was the low running water on the first and second floor in showers and sink. Other than that it was a great stay.

We went there to celebrate my girlfriend birthday party, we loved the vive as soon. as we got to the house, the surroundings, the house design, how much space there is specially for the kids, the boats and lake next to the house. the playground. the house itself was very well maintained and cleaned. was a very nice experience. Jennifer and Jose are great hosts. I hope to visit again any time soon in the future.

Jose and Jennifer were lovely to work with! They were super responsive and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook - which is not always the case. They had bedsheets and towels which was a huge help! The property was right off the water and included lots of water sports items. Very convenient to lots of local attractions. Cell service in the local area is spotty but they have WiFi! I would definitely stay again. There are lots of places to relax and hang. Also the wood in the home made it so cozy!

We (family of 8) stayed for one night. The house was clean spacious and comfortable. The porch overlooking the lake was great for just sitting outdoors, had table with 8 chairs for outdoor dining. Basement was bright and comfortable with TV Foosball and ping pong to keep people busy. We brought our own paddleboards (although there were boats to use) and spent time on the lake which had very clear water and you can see lots of fish, however there are many small fresh water jelly fish in the lake. We did wish that we had been able to to stay for longer, maybe another time!

Perfect home for a family vacation, enjoyed by all ages! We loved all the attention to detail and fun amenities throughout the house. The game room was a big hit with everyone, as well as the hot tub and of course, the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed walks and the local pickleball courts as well. Evenings were spent hanging out under the stars around the large table on the porch. Lots of beautiful family memories were created here - attentive and communicative hosts - highly recommend!

Excellent location and property for a fun family lake vacation! Kids ages 3-10 had a blast with canoe, kayaks, paddle boats, swimming beach next door, ping pong table, and foosball table. Home was very comfortable and well stocked with kitchen accessories and bathroom items. Had a great time hiking at nearby Bushkill Falls and the Pocono Environmental Education Center. Hosts (Jose and Jennifer) were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. Thank you for a great lake side vacation! Would definitely recommend this property.

Our group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids) had an amazing time at Jose and Jennifer's! Highlights: Swimming and boating in the lake, sitting by the fire pit and roasting s'mores, and eating dinner on the deck. The game room was a huge hit, and the kids loved the private hot tub and community pool. There was so much to do -- wish we could have stayed longer! The house was lovely, comfortable and clean, with more than enough space for everyone. Thank you for a great (if too short) getaway!

To keep things quick-- The check-in was a breeze. The house was well kept and clean upon arrival. The access to the private beachfront/lake and firepit absolutely spoiled us. It's gonna be hard to stay anywhere else. The layout of the house is fantastic for a large group to enjoy. All said, 12 family members had a weekend that we'll look back on for the rest of our lives, which is priceless for us.

Communication with Jose was quick and easy. So responsive! Instructions are clear and the digital guest guide is really helpful. The house is as nice as presented in photos, and super well-stocked - extra of everything! Comfortable seating areas, fun game/play area, hot tub was great. Dock and canoe/kayak/pedal boat are great. Sandy beach is right next door (remember your tags). There’s also a grassy path with a cute little bridge around part of the lake. The lake itself is really pretty and chill but def overfished (talked to a local of 50 years who confirmed that.. caught lots of sunnies, though!). Pool at Rec center was really big and had a lot of seating. Rest of rec center was a little disappointing (tags don't get you in to the fitness room - needed to call public safety) and the fishing pond is not that - sadly there were no fishing signs. But the rest of the rec center was great and only a six minute drive from the house. Our whole family had a great time - even when it rained! Sad to leave this beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place/this host.
