Annie's cottage in Balquhidder

House is very comfortable and presented Once again thank you for having us :)

2 days prior to our arrival we received the normal confirmation of our booking and instructions for entry. We arrived to check in at normal check in time and briefly settled into the cottage before heading off to town for an evening meal. On return at 7pm we found our belongings including open suitcases outside the front door and another couple inside the house. We contacted the property manager who informed us that our booking had been cancelled some time before. (Not by us incidentally) We had to find alternative accommodation in town on a dark night. The property manager arranged a full refund for our booking. Expedia has not provided us with an apology or an explanation as to why our booking which was made 4 months previously was cancelled. We were less than impressed with this debacle.

Plenty of room and clean but the polished floor was very slippery. It receives a fair bit of road noise from the bypass. We found there was very limited extras like tea bags etc and the washing machine was locked unless you stay for 7 days

This cottage was so much more than we expected. Its a charming 3 bed room beach house with a large airy open plan area, nicely furnished and with views on 3 sides. There's even a couple of dozen DVDs. Only minor problems were a broken toilet roll holder and intermittent light switch in the main bedroom.

I enjoyed my stay at the cottage it was neat tidy and comfortable if you love nature it ticks the boxes. Thanks so much

A lovely quiet house close to shops etc. . Would happily come again .

Great place to get away from it all. Spaceous, light and airy. Amazing views across the country side from every window. Easy access to bike riding tracks and 10 minute walk into Victor Harbor. Enjoyed my stay.

Good location, close to shops and walking trails. The fireplace was nice for the chilly evenings.

This accommodation is excellent value for money. Very spacious and the lounge dining area has high cathedral ceiling and large windows with lovely views of the hills (note there are no views of the ocean as such, just the Bluff).

The location of this home is convenient to town and other locations nearby but in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen is well outfitted, nice size bedrooms.
