Pool heating is available seasonally for $80 per day and must be added for the entire duration of your stay.
Please note that pool heaters depend on ambient (outdoor) temperatures. When outdoor temperatures are 50°F or below, the heater may be unable to maintain the desired water temperature. By requesting pool heating, you acknowledge that pool heat is not guaranteed.
Refunds will be considered only in the event of a verified mechanical or compressor failure of the heating equipment. Reduced heating performance due to low outdoor temperatures is a known limitation of electric pool heaters and is beyond our control.     Pros: Great location. Game room was great. Good response from management company. Cons: Needs repairs on main living floor. MANY broken and loose tiles. Some with holes in the middle of the tiles. Dangerous for bare feet. Upstairs shower leaking through the air vent in downstairs bedroom. Not just a drip but water pouring from the vent. Bucket and towels all over the bedroom floor. Couldn’t use the shower after that. This bathroom was really in very poor condition. We decided not using the shower was better for us than having plumbers working while we were there. Peeling and missing wallpaper, sink didn’t drain, shower door came off. My husband fixed the shower door temporarily. Problem with ants all over kitchen. Garage door going out to pool broken. Pool was so cloudy on the second day that no one wanted to get in it. Overall this house needs some major repairs. Cleaning company could do a better job. The property management company did respond quickly to our concerns. Yes we could have had a cleaning crew come but that would have been disruptive to our stay. Should have been done right to begin with. Renting a property to accommodate our family of 18 doesn’t come cheap. We expected much more for our money.

    There were so many broken items in the house. The plug in the bathroom downstairs did not work. The clothes dryer was not working. There was a serious ant problem in the house. The kitchen counters were covered with ants all over the counters. The basement fridge and freezer did not work. The toilet upstairs was broken. The water ran nonstop in the toilet. The light in the first bedroom on the right on the main floor would not turn on. The light upstairs in the bunkbed/open bedroom was so dim you could not even see in the room. The outlet in the first bathroom on the main floor did not work. The outdoor light near the pool by the garage door would not turn on and we could not see to swim at night. The plug in the bathroom downstairs did not work. The pool was extremely dirty when we arrived and filled with palm tree branches and dirt.

    We loved our stay at this property, great location right next to the beach and the pool was a great size! We had several small kids from 1-4 years old and they loved the front porch swing and all of the beach toys provided. The only complaint we had was the basement smelt like stale beer so we didn’t go down there much. Overall this house was perfect and upper levels were very well maintained and fit our multi family vacation. We would love to rent again!

    The house is as represented on the listing. We found the living room a comfortable place to hang out and loved having the long dining table. The ping pong and other games were great to have, as we were visiting in the winter. There is beach access across the street and one can see the water across the dunes. The customer service of the management company was outstanding. We did feel the beds were softer than we would like. We were disappointed that the house didn't provide beach towels or hair dryers, but it was clear on the listing that we would have to bring our own.

    This was an ideal location for our family reunion. The beach was so convenient with our several families of young children. It was an easy walk for all ages. The pool was great when it was heated and temperature outside was 70. Our first few days were lower 60 and the heater didn’t seem to do as well. Too cold for younger children when temp is low outside. It was nice to have the wagon, beach chairs and toys for the beach. Home didn’t come with enough TP, paper towels, or dishwasher tabs for a home that sleeps 25- but home was clean and beds comfortable. It was nice to have the extra refrigerators in the home for the food and cold drinks.

    The multiple wasp nests were a hazard leading to some nasty stings on one of our family. Various small items and some facilities, needed repair or replacement. For example the boogie boards were cracked and unusable, an awning for the pool was completely broken, multiple lawn/patio chairs are broken, a couch had a hole in its backing, the foosball table has no foosball, several floor tiles are badly cracked, and the front steps/deck are overdue for sanding and repainting. There are other items which the other guests would comment about, but I'm not going to solicit those comments. The management company clearly states that they can't/won't address anything other than emergency items on a weekend, which is of course when almost everyone arrives. They were prompt and their folks were helpful during the week, BUT when its a vacation for over $1000 a day I personally think this is unacceptable. I wonder if other guests have used this property and simply accepted it as-is, but like I said, at over $1000 a day I personally think this is unacceptable. Also some of the items are obviously long-standing, which leads one to surmise that the owners are interesting in making money with little regard to the reputation of the property. There are nicer, better maintained properties in P'cola Beach and we'll look for those next year.

    Loved this house! Our family consisted of our 83 year old parents, our kids and grandkids (7months-7 yrs old), and my husband and me. The setup is perfect so that late night games can be played downstairs while people sleep upstairs without being disturbed by the noise. The location is perfect. The beach is amazing! The only suggestion I have is that a small amount of basic cooking seasonings, a large skillet, and extra blankets be available. We were surprised that there were absolutely no seasonings in the cabinets. The property management team was phenomenal…quick to respond to questions, and actually sent housekeeping by to bring extra blankets for my parents. Totally recommend this house!
