The host was quick to communicate and easy process. I asked to have more dishwares and she provided that for us. Great location to go to the ski resorts.
Nice and clean place to stay, quiet neighborhood.
Fifteen minutes to the entrance to Big Cottonwood Canyon. Older home. The greatest cause of unhappiness in the world is unmet expectations. There is a lot going on in our family or we would consider booking again. However, we would need to adjust our expectations. Location is excellent. Close to Smith's. Mostly quiet street except during the working commute times.
Pros: clean, large property with ample parking. Very nicely styled interior with enough beds for us all to sleep very comfortably. Hot water was almost instant. Dishwasher was nice as were the washer and dryer, albeit small. Cons: amenities were lacking. We had 10 people, and the listing was for a max of 12. There were no back stock of basics and we quickly ran out and had to go to the store to restock. Pots and pans were not large enough to cook for the group of us. No basic ingredients or condiments available. If you stay here and want to cook meals, be prepared to buy everything you need. Also not enough seating for 10 of us on the main floor, even with the additional folding chairs. Overall, might consider a different location next time.
Kitchen was not very well stocked at all. If you're bringing 8 people, it will be cramped and you will likely need to buy some supplies (there's only 2 small pots and 2 small pans, very few dishes). We needed to run out to buy toilet paper, napkins, paper towels and soap upon arrival :-[ Also had to do a little cleaning ourselves. It was originally advertised as having 2 showers which it did not. There's one full bath and an extremely tiny half bath off one bedroom. I will say that the beds were very comfortable and overall a decent place to stay given that some of our travel companions dropped off due to covid. With just 4 of us, it was fine If you're looking for a view tho, there is not one. And they were quiet enough, but there were also renters on the lower level which we were not aware of until arrival.
The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The kitchen is stocked well and we were able to cook full meals with the kitchenware provided by the hosts. My only complaint was the communication with the host, I’d recommend checking in with them via a message the day before your stay so you have the check in instructions before you’re about to check in. I had to message the host for check in instructions while we were attempting to check in.
Clean property, accurate listing. Kitchen is not very well equipped. Close to malls / other stores, easy access to ski resorts. Not a ton to do near house if that’s what you’re looking to do
