An inexpensive vacation rental in a clean, comfortable home

We booked this house but wound up staying at their other property. Kate was helpful and the house was great.

We chose Kate's place for its proximity to Stone Harbor and the Wetlands Institute where we were helping to put on a weekend environmental education workshop. It worked out great for that, with the unexpected added bonus of how very clean, comfortable, easy and accomodating it turned out to be. Would definitely stay here again!

My family of four loved it. We enjoyed relaxing in the cool house between beach excursions. All of the bedrooms are styled uniquely and feel fresh and clean. The kitchen has all supplies for cooking and cleaning. It’s just all super easy to settle in. The grocery store is also only 4 mins away. Cape May the downtown area is about 20 mins, and the same to the gorgeous beaches of Cape May Point(which we recommend as the best!). It’s a quaint simple quiet area where the house is. We didn’t eat in the area because we were always in Cape May town. But I did spot a seafood restaurant nearby! Enjoy the home and the gorgeous relaxing area.

Our family of three enjoyed our stay at Kate’s place in Cape May Courthouse. The location is convenient, close to the Garden State Parkway, a close drive to many amazing beaches, and is about 2-3 blocks away from a bike path that goes to the zoo (btw, the zoo is awesome). The neighbor is mostly quiet and residential, there are a couple a of commercial properties within the immediate neighborhood, neighbors were very quiet, downtown Cape May courthouse is close so there is grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop, bank, etc nearby. The House met our needs nicely. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All rooms are clean and nice. The first floor has a well-equipped kitchen (not a lot of counters). The living room is clean and comfortable and tv is good. The dining room is adequate for an average family. The back deck and outdoor shower are great! The house has good central AC. The garage is locked from guests, so there is no covered area to store bikes. Kate, the owner, was helpful and responsive to our emails and texts; she lives locally and stopped by a couple times to water her garden, put trash out, and to pickup something. Overall, we were very happy with our accommodations and saved money by not staying closer to the water. We would rent this property again.

While we only had 3 days and 2 nights, this was the perfect house for our 5 person group. It is a clean and comfy house with a nice porch and outdoor shower, not to mention the convenience of being able to rent for less than a week at the shore during the summertime. Kate was a really flexible, communicative and kind host! :-)

A wonderful vacation home for a family who wants a Jersey beach vacation with a local feel. Nino's Italian restaurant down the street, as well as the grocery store and main highway. Easy access to beachside towns from Cape May to Atlantic City without the constant crowds and costs.
