An In-Town Beauty with Late Checkout

Perfectly located near the places we wanted to explore, yet still in a quiet friendly neighborhood. The whole house was spotless, accommodations comfortable and so nicely decorated. Host is communicative but not intrusive. Everything I was looking for in a short term rental!

Beautiful home, perfectly clean and well-appointed in the charming town of Great Barrington. Host provided helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. Weather was too cold and drizzly for outdoor pursuits, so spent a lot of time at the house with family, very warm and comfortable. Guido's has a fabulous array of produce, bread and cheese. Had one of the better meals of my life at Acqua al 2 in West Stockbridge. Overall a terrific long weekend in the Berkshires, would definitely rent again.

Don't miss an opportunity to enjoy this gem! Beautifully decorated, spotless, and with your every need cared for. The attention to detail and comfort makes it a true standout. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need; we loved cooking our meals throughout our stay and didn't end up eating out. Lovely touches throughout the home and generous provisions for toiletries and supplies. This cozy home was the perfect spot for enjoying peaceful time as a family with easy walks to town and a short drive to two ski areas. We were lucky enough to enjoy a few snow days during our stay and were the beneficiaries of the snow plough service Karen arranged for. Karen is extremely responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Cannot recommend this charming home highly enough!

This lovely home is even better than depicted. It is thoughtfully decorated and appointed with every amenity (comfy beds, kitchen supplies, plentiful heat on very cold days). My family had a wonderful stay and we hope to be back!

Wonderful host and property

Best-equipped kitchen ever. Dining room open to kitchen, which was nice for conversation. Living room comfy, with large TV. Full bath downstairs as well as upstairs. Beds comfortable and bedding clean and crisp. Would stay again.

A great space! Well appointed with lots of kitchen equipment that made cooking here a breeze! Bed and bathrooms were updated, clean and spacious. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

My second year in the house. Very comfortable house, well decorated, kitchen is terrific - many choices for making coffee and spices for those inclined to cook. I love sitting on the front porch in the morning and the short walk to town. Karen is a great host and very responsive for questions and to have a minor issue resolved. The check in/check out flexibility is great for my crew who tend to be slow in the morning.

Loved the location of the house - 5 minute walk to the town of Great Barrington. House was very nice, really well maintained and clean. Karen was great to work with and very responsive. She also provided good recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the Berkshires.

The property is well represented by the pictures and description. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with all manner of appliances, dishes and cookware. It's an easy walk into town for great shopping and terrific dining! We all enjoyed our stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic, comfortable, convenient and well-appointed home just a short walk from Main Street, shopping and restaurants. The host was thoughtful and quickly responded to our questions.

The host is a lovely person who went above to make sure we were comfortable and welcome. The home is neat, charming and close to town, hiking, and restaurants.

The house is comfortable and attractive and the kitchen is great for cooking/food prep. Especially fun for this coffee lover was multiple ways to make coffee. The house was also very clean, important to me. Karen met us upon arrival and showed us around. She was very responsive with questions along the way. I was there for two weeks joined at various points by my partner and my son and his partner . The house worked well for all of us.
