AMI Sunset Beach - Pool Side Retreat w/ Pool +Deck + Fast WiFi + Dog-friendly

The worst experience of my life, the 3rd bedroom of the property does not have A/C, you have to turn on a small A/C in the bathroom, so you choose whether to cool the room or freeze in the shower, after 6:00 pm it is impossible to be in the pool or outside areas, the mosquitos literally eat you alive, there is no ocean view, 3 new constructions is all you see, the owner is a dishonest person who will try to charge you extra fees if you bring a pet and then make up lies to keep part of the deposit, the house has so many rules that you will not be able to enjoy your vacation trying to follow them. The beach is very nice but I advise you to look for other properties as there are many if you do not want to run the risk of ruining your vacation .... the deposit will be charged as soon as you make the reservation which results in you paying interest on that amount for months before you are even enjoying it, in short we have never had a worse experience.

Perfect place for enjoy with family,

Overall, we had a good stay at the pool side retreat. The heated pool is a very nice touch and, frankly, saved the trip for us when there was unexpectedly cold weather. I appreciated that Rex very quickly addressed a plumbing concern with the shower and it was fixed for the rest of our stay. Rex also provides a long list of recommendations of things to do. The only thing I wish we had was more books/games/toys inside the house when folks don’t want or aren’t able to play outside. As it is, the place is ideal if you are only planning to be inside if you’re eating, sleeping, or watching TV

Our host was amazing and very responsive. Amenities were great and so close to the beach. Will definitely use Rex again!!

Location to beach well kept house

The owner answered every question from the day of booking to checkout in a timely manner. He provided a clean and beautiful home just like his photos say. Cannot wait for a return stay!

The pool side retreat was great. The property was clean, check-in and communication were great, and everything we need was there. Location was amazing - basically a block from the beach. Would definitely consider staying again.

Planned a week long beach trip to AMI, and the accommodations and location of the home were perfect. Having the convenience of the beach just steps away, was not only amazing, but the location of this rental is cetrally located. We visited 4 other beaches during our stay and we always came back home to Anna Maria Beach. Rex, the owner/host, was extremely responsive with questions and getting back to us immediately. Would definitely go back and stay at this location. We had an amazing and stress free vacation at the beach.

Perfect location, very nice and spacious. Kids loved the private pool!

Property was well maintained, very close to the beach, and in a fairly quiet area. Mosquitoes were very aggressive and didn’t seem to be bothered by candles or torches but bug spray worked.

Nice home with easy access to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the poolside retreat, very specious accommodation's. Anything we needed help with was taken care of quickly. Always a wonderful time on AMI.

Everything was great! Great location and the owner was very responsive when we had any questions! The cleaning lady is pretty amazing as well! We enjoyed this stay a lot! We will definitely be staying again!

Our family had a great time staying at this VRBO. The pool was ideal for our 5 & 3 year old and the walk to the beach was nice and easy. The home was clean and accurately displayed. We did have an issue with the front door lock and never heard from the owner when we wrote him about it. The master bedroom also runs very warm compared to the rest of the house. Overall it was a great home for a week of vacation.

We were so happy to be able to spend a week at your beach house. Everything was clean fresh and it felt just like home. The beach was literally across the street. We could not have picked a more convenient place to stay. I am so happy that rex was able to get the house up and running. Looking for it to booking with rex again next year. Thank you again.

Nice clean space. Close to many amanities.

We had a wonderful experience this past weekend. I had family from NY and Connecticut. The place was neat, clean and cozy with a perfect location to great restaurants and the beach!

House had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Great location to the beach and close to a lot of good restaurants. Very quite location and the host was very quick to respond to any questions.

The location to the beach and other attractions was great! If you don’t mind sharing amenities with your upstairs neighbor the property works well. The pool isn’t very big so if both the upstairs guests and the poolside retreat guests are using the pool frequently, it gets quite dirty by the end of the week especially if both units are sleeping the full capacity. Rex (the owner) was very responsive to all communications. I would recommend this property to others.

We loved AMI! Our stay here was great. We were one block off the beach and we had a pool which was great for cooling off and nights. The size of the rooms were great especially the extra space in the master. This is the first trip where the laundry has been so easy and close and we came home with less laundry to wash. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room table held us all. I’ve already talked to our family about coming back and renting this entire house. Rex was great at communicating and giving us tips! We loved this house and AMI.

Property is very well situated, close to tge beach. Rooms are well set up, property was clean and well equipped.

This rental was perfect for our family, it was in a central location with a grocery store right down the street. We loved the area and will be back.
