American Pride | Dog Friendly, Dock Slip, Hot Tub

We had 3 families stay for 3 nights at American Pride over NYE. We had a wonderful stay and the home was perfect for our needs. We loved the quiet location in the woods with the hot tub and the kids loved spending a few hours at the community pool. The home had ample space for all of us and allowed us to have a great time ringing in 2025! My only concern with the home was the downstairs bathroom had a sewer smell - my husband said it looked like there may be a leak behind the toilet which could be easily fixed. Other than that, no complaints!!

Very clean, great hot tub and bedroom placement. Quick walk to the dock and lake. The only negative, there was no boat launch at the property

Beautiful house and very restful

House was extremely nice, and lots of spaces for people to do their own thing, and rest. I loved every minute of the stay, and we highly recommend it.

The house definitely met all of our needs. The kitchen is equipped well. Family enjoyed the gas fireplace in the main family room. It really added warmth to the room. We loved sitting around the fire pit. Unfortunately, the firewood that was there was very wet and very difficult to burn. We had to go out and buy our firewood. When we arrived, the code to the door did not work. But I was very impressed that a person actually answered the number they had given us to use. It was taken care of quickly. Wish we could have used the indoor pool but it was closed due to COVID.

We really enjoyed ourselves! The place is very inviting! Cozy!!!! Clean!!!! A light by the hot tub would be great! Nevertheless we enjoyed it!

We had a great time. Upon our arrival everything was clean and when we checked out we left it the same way. I would highly recommend this property to someone else.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can only say Excellent things about American Pride. The house is in a great area of DCL. The house has everything that you could want and more. The kitchen has enough of everything you could ever need to cook for a large group of people. The rooms are large and clean. The yard is beautiful and the development is where I would live. The people are great and if you like Deer you will see them in the area around this house. As far as Taylor-Made goes I have been renting here for 14 years now and we are very happy with Taylor-Made and the staff. They are the Best rental company. They will go out of there way to make you happy. We have rented from other rental companies in the DCL area and they were ok, but they did not do what TM does for there customers. We can only say Excelent things about American Pride and Taylor-Made.The house is also, local to the state parks and a restaurant called Little Sandys. This is the best little restaurant for all meals but they defently have the Best breakfast in DCL. The Blue Berry Pancakes are to die for. The staff there is also Excellent. The private hot tub was nicely located out back in a gazebo. The horse shoe pit was nice as well as the firepit (corn hole was nice too although bags were missing-- they quickly replaced them for us when we reported it). Short walk to the dock where we kept a boat for a few days. Wish there was a common area or small beach/water entry point near the dock. Used the tennis courts and basketball hoops. Very nice, private neighborhood for walking dogs.
