'American Classic' **BEACHFRONT** Historic Nye Beach - BEST LOCATION - 3BR Home

Love this place! Our family felt at peace the minute we stepped inside. Perfect combination of homey and a retreat.

The house was very cozy, spacious, and accomodating. We loved the incredible view and the location. The owners were very communicative and nice as well. We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend staying here!

The beds were poor and need to be replaced, otherwise the property is as advertized and very well equiped.

March visit-4 women & lots of room, nice kitchen setup & location is great. We walked on beach, had breakfast nextdoor & made a visit to aquarium.

Location, location, location. Right on the waterfront. Great view. We walked 3 minutes or less to several great restaurants, shops, and a bakery. Hosts were accommodating andhelpful.The house has great personality.

10/10 for the view! This home.. felt like home with a million dollar view. We were fortunate enough to see sea lions right out the window facing the ocean. It was a quaint and homey little places, while we were there, we honestly had every thing we needed. Down to wine openers, and a large option of retro movies! We will hopefully stay here many more times in the years to come while visiting our daughter in Newport! Thank you Jim and Lana for being amazing hosts and answering every single question or concern we had, and so quickly.

A lovey cozy home with a wonderful view of the ocean. The home is right next to the Nye Beach access and downtown restaurants. This home has all you'd need for a peaceful stay at the coast.

The house was amazing! We loved the location, view, how clean and very welcoming the place is. It's a historic house that you can sit back and imagine when it was the only house around and what it was like back then. The host was magnificent, easy to communicate with and truly wanted us to enjoy our time, which we did! We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

I thought the property was cool however it is right next to a hotel and the views include lots of other buildings. I was disappointed with the location and the cleanliness of the place. We washed the windows ourselves because they were so dirty. I wish I could have known the location better before booking.

The Beach view is amazing.

Great location. Great view. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. A short walk to the beach. I would love to watch the king tides from this location. Hosts were helpful when needed. Parking was easy during our stay. We would love to stay here again if/when we come back to Newport.

The property is a great location to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and the beach.

Well located with comfy rockers set in front of the ocean-facing picture window. (Window shades would be appreciated on sunny days.) Three bedrooms upstairs share a bath. Full bath downstairs with sitting room, den and kitchen dining area. The view is the huge draw with this house. And right in Nye Beach.

The house was big and beautiful, clean, quiet neighborhood. We were lucky and was able to park in front of the house a lot, but the few times someone else was parked there we were able to find a close parking spot. The stairs up to the bedrooms is a bit steep, but wasnt an issue for us, but if you dont handle stairs well i wouldnt recommend. Great beach view and easy access to the beach right around the corner. But to be clear you CANNOT access the beach from the property, you have to walk a tiny bit to get to the beach, on that walk we met a friendly cat! I would recommend this beach house.

Nice beach house with great ocean view. The house is older but very clean and centeral location close to restaurants and shops and the beach. Will stay again.

This was a fun house to stay in with a beautiful ocean view. There was easy beach access and lots of things to walk to. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Newport.

This was our first trip since welcoming our daughter (now 8 months old), and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The home was incredibly comfortable, well-appointed, had amazing views and had everything we needed. We loved how easy it was to walk to the water and explore Nye Beach’s charming downtown. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here again!

The house is amazing! If you're looking for an original beach house, then this one is for you! Everything is in easy walking distance, the historic district is super fun. My only regret....I wanted to stay a few more days. Work saidNO. Bummer. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful house with character. Great location for our purposes. Within walking distance to several favorite shops and galleries and beach walking. Great view of the sea. Needs mattress replacements. Soon, if possible. One other thing: dining table had a thick coat of oil from polishing. Love the rocking chairs in front of the dining room windows ,possible

The house was perfect for our family. We loved the view of the crashing waves, the easy walks and drives to delicious dining options, and the fact that the house had everything we needed to comfortably hang out together, get a good sleep, and get up and do it again the next day!

We really enjoyed this home - oceanfront, easily walkable to Nye Beach shopping and down to the beach. A quick drive to the additional bayfront restaurants. The home is older/historic but very comfortable.

We loved the 1906 home with many ocean inspired decorations! The bedding and towels were clean without perfumed detergents and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gadgets.No spices or coffee filters, we left our filters for others.Awesome location, ease of check- in.Windows and mirrors could use a deep clean with a steam vacuum, as well as bathroom cedar.

This place was quaint and cozy. The views were beautiful. It was walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants and shops. I can’t wait to stay here again!

This property has an excellent view of the ocean and close to local food, dining, and bars. However, the property needs work. Blinds broken/missing, kitchen lighting poor

This was our second week long stay at the American Classic. We had a great time. This place is wonderful. It is meticulously decorated, has modern appliances, and is perfect for relaxing while watching whales or sleeping (13 hours a night for me). Many pet friendly restaurants are nearby. Everyone in the area is friendly and the hosts respond immediately to any questions that you have. We plan to be back again next year.

The house is charming with breathtaking views only steps from the beach and the shops and restaurants in Nye Beach. When we had an issue, the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a very nice stay!

My husband, I and another couple spent 3 nights at the American Classic beach house. Great location with a stunning view. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Loved sitting out on the deck listening to the ocean and watching the waves. Coming from Wyoming that was quite a treat. Beds were a little broke down but we were so tired by the end of each day we all slept well. Shower has great water pressure and lots of hot water. Would definitely come stay again. House was cozy and homey.

We loved this house! It has the charm of an older home and is perfectly maintained. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. The decor was perfect for a beach house, with lots of shells. The view of the ocean from the living room and deck were great, and access to Nye beach was easy. We also appreciated the cleaning supplies and extra spices in the pantry. We had everything we needed!

We have stayed at the American Classic a number of times. The location is in our favorite part of Newport with a beautiful view of the ocean and within walking distance to a good selection of shops and restaurants. Since we've discovered this wonderful home we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. It checks all of the boxes of the things we are looking for at the coast. Thanks to Jim and Lana for prompt communication when needed. They have been great hosts over the years!

Spent 3 weeks here and loved every minute of it. Spacious and loved the huge windows with the awesome view of the pacific. Morning coffee inside sitting in the chair glider was heaven. Beds have one firm one soft and one really soft. I picked the daybed downstairs and it was comfy but had a lot of light at night. Kitchen was decently stocked. We cooked at least one meal a day. Older home with a lot of charm. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, performing arts center and visual arts center. We only needed a car for grocery store or sight seeing. Parking was never a problem. Quiet neighborhood. Walked my little dogs every morning and evening with no worries. Bathroom lighting isn't the greatest but wasn't a big deal. Great hot water in the showers! I enjoyed the three week stay and would stay again!
