The Outside Inn has it all. This home in the heart of Crested Butte, 2 blocks from Elk Street, one block from Camp Four Coffee, and directly across the street from the bus to the mountain - you can't beat it. With high-end sheets, mattresses, towels, hot tub and a well-stocked kitchen, it's the perfect place to come home to after a day of adventures.
The space
This is a rare three story home in the heart of CB. There are 7 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, two common living spaces, two decks, a backyard patio for the summer, and two staircases. Come enjoy a comfortable basecamp for all of your CB adventures. There is something for everyone including an incredible view for those who just want to curl up on the couch for the day, two smart TVs, lounge in the hot tub as you watch the sunset light up Mount Crested Butte, and several desks and work spaces for those WFHers.

The third floor feels like a master suite with a king bedroom and bathroom as well as desk/work area, deck with fantastic north views down valley, and a separate sitting area and TV. The second floor has the main living/common space and two bedrooms (one king and one queen) that share a bathroom and that entire area can be closed off from the common area to create a family or group suite. The first floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One king and one room with 2 bunk beds (4 twins total) and a bathroom between them - direct access from the king room. One room has a queen with direct access to a bathroom and a room with one bunkbed (two twin beds) right across the hall.
Guest access
Keyless smart lock entry with a code and the entire house will be yours. The garage is not available to guests, but there are six parking spaces and free additional street parking as needed.
Other things to note
Please note, I apologize that there are no pets allowed and no exceptions. The wood fireplace shown is not operable. For small children there is a Baby Bjorn pack and play, crib sheets, stroller, a high chair, two baby gates, a children's hiking backpack, a few basics for children's dishes/utensils, and a some simple toys and books.

    Top of the list was Frankki's communication. It was quick, positive and very much appreciated! The house was perfect for our group. We had up to 11 adults and 2 small children (ages 2 and 1). The house worked very well for us. The living area/kitchen is on the second floor and was a great space to eat, cook and hang out (the house included a baby gate that allowed us to block off access to a staircase going down to the first floor). The kitchen was well appointed, as was the rest of the house. One of our kids was able to leave their stroller, crib and high chair at home and use those provided by the house. That made their air travel much easier (thanks, Frankki!). The house is two blocks south of Elk Avenue and a block and a half from Camp 4 Coffee. It is close to Clark's Market and to an organic grocery store across from Camp 4 Coffee. Everything was super convenient and very walkable! We had an issue with a shower valve one evening and Frankki was able to locate and send over a contractor that night. The repair required a part that the contractor picked up and installed the next morning. He was a great guy and made the repair quickly and as unobtrusively as possible. Our family had a great week and commented that it was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken! We would enthusiastically recommend this property!

    Highly recommended and would definitely stay again! Kitchen and bathrooms all well stocked. Great location to in-town grocery, restaurants, stores and bars. Bus stop for resort right literally right a cross the street.

    We booked our VRBO home almost a year ago for my son's wedding on July 27, 2024. I emailed a few questions before we had arrived and had received replies back in a timely manner. House was perfect and had all of the necessary items that you may need in a home. Home was very clean and very easy to get to town, a few blocks away. I would defiantly rent from this host again.

    This home is an excellent location! A couple blocks from all the stores and restaurants as well as the local supermarket. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The grill and outdoor table was perfect for our group. Communication from the host was quick. (We needed more propane and he had it there within an hour or so!) I highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

    Very nice home with great amenities. It was nice not to have to worry about driving everywhere! Very close to the cute downtown area, stores and restaurants. Shuttle to the ski area was right out the front door. Consensus from our family was that the beds were not very comfortable but just our opinion. Home was laid out nicely for privacy. Would recommend and we hope to return next year! As a side note the hot tub was great!

    This house was the perfect place for our ladies' weekend getaway. It's an easy walk to the main street downtown and all the shops and restaurants, and so fun to have as a basecamp location to enjoy the home itself. We enjoyed nights out as well as cooking in the fully appointed home. The back patio was perfect for morning coffee and evening gatherings and plenty of room for all of us. Great communication with the host, lovely location and views, very clean and well-appointed. THANK YOU for helping to create a memorable weekend!

    We loved the house and especially the location. It had plenty of room for our family, and even had baby supplies that came in handy! Frankki the hose was easy to contact and so sweet! We will definitely be back!
