Amazing large home for your dream getaway!

Wonderful stay did have trouble trying to lite the fireplace the label Was worn off made it hard to know what you was doing everything was very clean and organized but would recommend new towel

Not to far from Gatlinburg and not to bad to drive to pigeon forge

Before we arrived the property manager made us aware of a window that was broken from the guest before us. It was a giant hole that was on the ground floor that could an animal could have easily climbed through. They couldn’t get someone to fix it until after our stay. I wish the property manager would have made an effort to at least board up the window for our safety from critters as well as our small children we had with us, but the hole wasnt covered at all. We found a beer can and a shoe in the master bedroom from the previous guests as well. The floors in the kitchen were sticky and not mopped before our arrival. There was a projector tv downstairs, but it didn’t work. There was an arcade game downstairs but it didn’t work either. There wasn’t a garbage disposal which was inconvenient. We were never able to get the front door to lock when we left the cabin, which is concerning because we felt we couldn’t leave anything there while we were out. Each bed needed a new mattress because all of them sank in the middle. This cabin is made to fit several families but there was one king bed and one queen and all of the other beds were a full or a twin which is very difficult to sleep the 10 people we had. It has great potential but it was very unclean and half of the amenities didn’t even work.

We were a large group with 4 families and kids mostly toddlers and infants. 1. Major Issue was there was huge infestation of millipedes at lower level as there is gap between baseboard and flooring. We were not informed about it prior to booking and we had to struggle to adjust in the upper level living space for the duration of the stay. The only comment from the owner was it was a problem in the area and vacuum them up, but they kept coming back , no matter how many times we vacuumed . 2. Other inconvenience during our stay was the Front door lock came out of the screws with a simple pull so we had to carry all our valuables every time we left the property. Which was fixed on day 4 of our stay. 3. The lower level bedroom also had the light and the fan tied to a single switch which meant we can't have the fan on during the night , we pulled the light sockets out on first night to sleep but the millipede problem meant we couldn't stay with kids downstairs as they were scared. The millipedes might not be harmful but it was a huge inconvenience to our group and kinda ruined our vacation.. Even VRBO was not helpful to find alternative accommodations for our group., every time we called we had to go to a long process of uploading photos , videos before getting to a travel agent. Made 6-8 calls each for 45mins plus and calls dropped due to connectivity in the wooded mountains. And rebooking never happen due to the busy summer weekend we were in with a large group stay.

Description and photos online were accurate. Roomy and comfortable for our family.
