Seacrest property is convenient to Rosemary Beach restaurants and the beach. The public pool is large and very nice. The shuttle service to the beach is nice; runs 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and great to haul gear to the beach. Seacrest management is good and very responsive to maintenance issues. Our house, Coco Cabana, was perfect for our family of 7 people. And the Seacrest development is beautiful.
We have been coming to Seacrest beach for 10 years and have so many wonderful memories but this will be our last year. The beach situation has gotten unbearable for what you pay. Since the private beaches has started tons of people are herded between orange cones and on top of each other. Security with Southern Realty is just rude and over the top psycho. This house was lovely with the exception of only one towel per person with an unwillingness to give more because “those are to get you started and you can wash them.”?
Easy
An easy walk to all the shops, restaurants and beach! It was an awesome location and the house had plenty of room.
No complaints at all. Loved the spaciousness and location. I I do suggest that one of the balusters on the balcony needs a replacement to make it safer for small kiddos
My family of 5 (kids aged 15, 12, & 9) enjoyed our stay at this house. The location was great and the house was nice. There was a tram pickup/drop off directly to the side of the house though we didn’t use it. We just walked to the beach and pool. It rained most of our visit so we spent lots of time at the house. there were some broken blinds (not a real issue, but aesthetically could be replaced). We had a sink that wouldn’t drain and my husband had to dig out “gunk” to get it to drain (just a FYI for the property owners) and a toilet stopped up which the property fixed ASAP. All and all a great, comfortable house.
The home looked like there was a frat party there the night before and the only thing that was picked up were the cups and most of the condoms.
The code they gave to us did not work when we first arrived. A quick call the to the property manger and in about 5 min they had a us a new code and in the house we went! Only issue is the drainage! All the sinks and showers/tubs other than the master bathroom will clog very quickly!(easy fix for them). The grill was exceptionaly dirty nasty as well if you plan on doing any grilling. Other than that nice place very close to food and shops.
Great property. Very good location that has easy beach access. We appreciated that there was plenty of seating available both inside the house and on the porch. The only thing that would discourage me from renting again is the air conditioning. You’re unable to set the thermostat below 72 degrees because they said it would cause the units to freeze up. It got very stuffy and unpleasant during the night which effected everyone’s sleep. Owners may need to consider upgrading the units. Additionally, there needs to be a broom and dust pan in the house so you can sweep throughout the week.
I am rating 4 out of 5 stars. This house was good overall. There are some maintenance and more thorough cleaning processes that can significantly help with overall satisfaction and ratings. We enjoyed being within a short walk of the pool, as the ocean was still yucky from the recent Hurricane Sally. For the beach days, we drove to the public access at Inlet Beach so we could use our wheeled beach carrier. Seacrest's access does not allow wheeled wagons or carts. The location is very close to the town center. We enjoyed walking around the town and to Rosemary and Alys beaches. The downside of this location was that it was loud at night and we could hear people who passed by the house. On the last night, I called security at midnight because a house nearby was extremely loud. The house comfortably fit our small family. The bedrooms and bathrooms are good sizes. The ground floor porch furniture was very nice to use for outside dining. The second floor porch could be cleaner but was usable. One of the mattresses could be updated but we moved rooms and were fine. The owner's bathroom had some water stains on the ceiling and window frames. That bathroom shower had mildew, possibly mold, on the floor and wall. Several light bulbs were out. The washing machine was very loud and slow. The oven seemed to take a long time to heat up. The decor was outdated compared to a lot of options we considered, but it was okay for us. I contacted property management about these items and a few other things for their consideration.
