Stayed Jul 5, 2025Stayed with my husband and my brother for a week in July 2025. Property is located directly on the beach, which is mostly quiet and clean. Renters should be advised that Fort Morgan is a beach with views of huge oil platforms and tankers offshore. If you want more pristine views of the horizon, definitely consider Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. I have to say, I cannot imagine that this house would fit nine people (definitely not adults!) by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are very small, as are the beds, other than the master. The upstairs bathroom needs a lot of help, the toilet seat is broken and it could definitely use a new showerhead. Overall, this house needs some attention. As another renter mentioned, the air conditioner does not keep the upstairs cool. We were freezing on the first level and sweating on the second. An outdoor shower would be a wonderful addition rather than just a cut off hose for rinsing. We have been vacationing in the area for the past 20 years, and prices have skyrocketed. I wouldn’t mind paying more for the quality we used to get, but quality has also diminished, which is discouraging. Regardless, we had an absolutely wonderful time because we all love the ocean, but we would probably not rent this property again.
