Alpine View

The property was easy to get to and locate. There's parking right in front of the property, enough for two cars. We were pleased with how well it was equipped from the kitchen, the two bathrooms, the heaters in both bedrooms and the one upstairs in the common area. There are 2 sofa beds, a queen bed and a king sized bed. Property claims to sleep 6, and I think that's pretty accurate. I really appreciated the provision of all the spices they have on hand plus the coffee and tea supplies including creamer and sugar packets, and even hot chocolate packets (these are listed as seasonal items in the description). We would have liked to know how to operate the hot tub better, but we enjoyed it nonetheless one time. This is the perfect family location, just 35-40 minutes from Curry Village. You're already in the park which is really convenient. My only complaints are checkout is at 10am, a bit early. The remote for using the DVD player didn't work for us using the instructions left. Also, the instructions for trash disposal were inaccurate which stressed me out a bit because I didn't want to be charged for leaving it, but we also didn't want to pack it out of the park with us. Luckily I was able to reach out to someone after a couple of calls and we received the proper instructions which was a combination versus using a key to open the dumpster. Overall, it was a great, comfortable stay and we'd recommend it to anyone and would stay there again.

We loved the property. Great beds and good location. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the heater. Would recommend this property for those who want to explore the park.

Listing was for great price especially for being in the park! Arrived at property and had no issue getting in. Property was clean and had signs everywhere that were helpful. The hot tub was also a great way to unwind after hiking. We were disappointed in the communication with the property owner. I messaged the time of booking asking if there were any baby gates and never received a response. We also weren’t given notice the downstairs heater (where the bedrooms were located) was broken. They provided one space heater; however, we had our daughter. We could of packed warmer pajamas for her because it did get chilly and the one space heater wasn’t enough. We also had to dispose of our trash while exiting the park because we could not locate the bins that they said they provided. Overall, the experience was good. We just wished for better communication.

Even though we (myself and 4 others) were pulling into the property in the dark, we could tell we had made the right choice in choosing this place to stay at while exploring Yosemite for the weekend! From the walkway from parking spot, conveniently located right in front, to the decor on the outside of the cabin to the home away from home feeling instantly as we stepped in, this place is 11/10! All the necessities were provided: all kitchen appliances (oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, cleaning supplies, plates, cups), towels, TV (if you feel the need!), hot tub, outdoor seating for meals. Being located about 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley was also a major plus. As for the spotty WiFi, we were all happy to be somewhat 'off the grid' and it wasn't really an issue during our stay! Overall this was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Yosemite and would definitely stay here again.

Needs internet and a larger TV

Wifi worked only if you stepped outside. I felt this should be remedied since there is no cell (AT&T) phone service.
