Great house, great experience

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the location to the fields was perfect. The kids fished and swam in the lake between games. The house is great for a large family with plenty of space. We look forward to coming back.

Loved the property. Management very responsive to low battery beeping on one of the fire alarms. Chilly weekend, but sunny. Very well-appointed.

Very comfortable property. Questions answered promptly. Well stocked kitchen.

Enjoyed the property. Great space to spend time with friends or family. The beds and linens were not the most comfortable, if you’re local bring your own pillows, etc. During COVID times they give you minimal towels. Recommend bringing beach towels or a few of your own towels.

We experienced a variety of issues over the course of the week including the key not being available, a leaky fridge, a mouse in the house, and finally the AC was broken by Day 2. Multiple calls and emails to Taylor Made were made. To summarize, my wife and I were required to take the initiative to follow up on the status of the AC throughout the week. We understand that things break but also expect that management companies respond proactively and follow up to ensure that renters enjoy their experience. Our week stay cost us considerable $ for the week and was far from the vacation we should have enjoyed. Instead of enjoying our family time, we were constantly calling Taylor Made and frankly being miserable in the humidity and temperature. We were told at least its cool at Night by one of your staff members, but truth be told it was miserable. Our neighbors were outside greatly enjoying their hot tub and patio and all their noise and conversation coming straight into our open windows. As we are understanding that things can happen and break, what was absolutely unacceptable was the lack of communication Our week stay was far from the vacation we should have enjoyed. Instead of enjoying our family time, we were constantly calling Taylor Made and frankly being miserable in the humidity and temperature. We were told at least its cool at Night by one of the staff members, but truth be told it was miserable. Our neighbors were outside greatly enjoying their hot tub and patio and all their noise and conversation coming straight into our open windows. As we are understanding that things can happen and break, what was absolutely unacceptable was the lack of communication, coordination and dealing with events in a timely manner. At this point in time, over a month and a half since our vacation, Taylor Made agreed to refund us less than 20% of cost. This was after some negotiation. This provides minimal compensation to make the above situation and experience “right.” I would not recommend Taylor Made based on the level of service provided and the company’s commitment to quality and service. The negative review is not based on what went wrong but rather the way that Taylor Made dealt with the issues, followed up and ensured that we had a positive experience. Even when it was clear that our experience was far from positive, there seemed to be very minimal commitment to make the situation right.

We loved staying at this house. It is perfect for a large family and the view is incredible. It really has everything you need with a great open living room. Can't wait to return.

The entire time we stayed there it was rainy and grey but the lake still was wonderful to look at. The owners thought of every convenience for their guests. In the kitchen, every drawer and door were marked with the type of contents inside. There are nightlights everywhere, making your night walking experiences pleasant and safe. They also have a great set up with a living room on the main floor and a great room on the lower level. Both are set up for watching a big screen TV or game playing. Also last but not least, every bedroom has its own bath, which is a welcome treat. There is nothing that will disappoint you about this house.
