The house and property were roomy and comfortable. The lake was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A family of deer were often seen grazing and loons could be heard calling. It was also a great location for doing day trips to enjoy other sites in the area. Our hosts were very accommodating as well.

Our stay at the lake was wonderful! The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed and then some. It has plenty of space for a large family, games, books and an extra living space on the lower kevel that isn't even pictured in the listing. Our family spent a lot of time on the provided kayaks and canoe. The lake is nice and quiet with crystal clear water. It was pretty shallow when we visited. Great for kids. The homeowner was very responsive if you have any questions during your stay.

Love this property! Good spot on the lake, kayaks and canoes provided at no extra charge and comfortable house. This was our second time staying there and will definitely book again.

We had a nice stay for my son's graduation from college. The house provided us a good location to visit attractions and celebrate our special occassion. Beautiful view. Pam was helpful with some questions we had and replied quickly..

The house and property were great. Well stocked, including plenty of firewood, and bigger and nicer than expected. One of the best properties we've stayed on - wooded, but still sun exposure, privacy, wildlife, quiet lake. The one downside was nothing within the homeowner's control, but did impact our stay - the lake was very shallow. This led to incredible fishing but we brought our boat with us, and it was very difficult to launch it, and then when we did, we needed to moor it since it was much too shallow to bring it to the dock. Otherwise, incredible stay, and we highly recommend it!

Relaxing stay while we toured Bar Harbor and Acadia. We're planning to return and spend more time in the future so we can explore the amazing lake right out the back door!

We had a wonderful time. The house was a nice retreat after sightseeing all day. A big kitchen for cooking and a big living room to seat us all while we talked, laughed and reminisced. The outside of the house is just as inviting with the gazebo, campfire ring and lake. And the loons!

Gorgeous views. Kayaking. Beautiful walks. Checking off bucket list for me and my late husband: Eating lobster in Maine in September (yummy). Groundhogs, turkey, ducks, chipmunk, deer and the magnificent loons. Thank you so much. It was exactly the retreat I needed.
