The Hibernation Station was exactly what i needed. It was super comfortable and has all the extra stuff that you might have forgot. The host's were great and accommodating. I had to extend my stay a few days and Rachel/Coleman were able to make it happen. If Im ever back in the Fairbanks area I will definitely be looking ro stat here.

Beautifully updated - the pictures are extremely accurate and truly highlight the Alasakan experience that we were looking for. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Laundry was clean and easy to use.

The unit was spotless and brand new. Laundry products were provided with the washer and dryer, which was very much appreciated, along with bath products and extra toothbrushes/razors! The kitchen was very well equipped, but needed a few more glasses (not plastic). We did have an issue with the heater, but it was resolved quickly.A bench (either inside or out) to remove shoes, and a coat rack would be nice additions. The location is in a neighborhood, which we did realize when we booked it and that was fine. But there is no outdoor space for guest use, which would be a great addition. A stable front step/porch really should be added, the current solution was slippery in the rain.Overall, it was a comfortable stay. Just a few tweaks are needed.

Stay was ok. We were a little scared at first due to arriving at night. We unknowingly pulled up to the back of the place and the grass/bush is overgrown. Kind of looks abandoned. Also I don't know if it was the sewage or what but there was an awful smell in the bathroom. Had to keep the bathroom door closed. Otherwise the pictures are accurate and the stay was comfortable.

This property is so beautiful and just what we needed. Fully stock with everything you need! We had a short stay, and we would stay again in a heart beat! My only suggestion is chairs outside to enjoy the outside.

Very convenient location to Chena Lakes to view the Northern lights and do snow activities. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we need during our stay. The location was very quiet even though the unit is connected to the main house. The owner is very responsive.

Nice duplex off the beaten trail in North Pole, Alaska about 20 minutes from Fairbanks on good hwy and 30 min. from Chena Springs (although in Feb. it took an hour to get there due to snow/ice on road). Snowmobile rentals were right down the road and the Northern Lights were right outside our door! No shoes allowed inside so consider packing a cheap pair of cotton slippers for padding around the house.

We absolutely loved this place! The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials like pancake mix, cereals and etc, making our stay even more convenient. The host’s thoughtful touches, like providing foot warmers, made us feel truly cared for. One of the highlights was seeing the Northern Lights right in front of the house! Plus, Chena Lake Recreation Area, a fantastic spot for aurora viewing with open space and no city lights, was just a short 10-minute drive away—perfect for safely getting there on snowy roads on cold winter nights. We were incredibly lucky to see the aurora three out of the four nights we stayed. This was an unforgettable experience. You won't regret staying here if you want a great aurora-viewing experience.

This cabin was everything we needed for our vacation. We were visiting our son, stationed at Eielson AB. The distance to his house was a 20 minute drive. While in Alaska, we did several activities, and pleased to find that some of these activities could be found within a 5 -10 minute drive from our cabin. For a secluded feeling, it was surprising to realize we were quite close to many fun things. We enjoyed driving the 10 minutes to the Chena Rec area and seeing the GORGEOUS Northern Lights. We really couldn’t see them from the cabin, but that’s due to the trees (which are very pretty, btw.) We enjoyed the roominess of the cabin. All the rooms were large! We made use of the laundry area and appreciated the detergent and dryer sheets available for use. The bathroom had a supply of towels, toilet paper, razors, and toothbrushes, along with items like shampoo, body wash, and hair dryer. Everything was pretty clean. The kitchen was stocked with necessities plus extras. The coffee bar items were a nice added touch too. We felt safe. Although the owners live on-site, we only saw a glimpse of them pulling into their garage. We did not hear them or see them really at all. We had an issue with an alarm sounding under the house. We contacted them and they quickly responded and fixed the problem. I will say there are strange sounds in the pipes at night. I wish there was a sound machine available to help with this. The bed could def use a new mattress too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The AK hibernation station was perfect for us. We needed a break from the hustle of reality and this warm and comfortable suite fulfilled our desires. It provided us with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and luxurious family room. The owners were quick to respond to any concerns or questions. We would stay here again.

We loved EVERYTHING about this place!!! The cute decor, the immaculate cleanliness, and the comfy beds and couches and warm water shower made us feel at home!!! They even provided popcorn, granola bars, toothbrushes, razors, and an awesome selection of kcups for daily coffee!!! We saw northern lights from the property. We also went out to the dam which is not far and got amazing photos of the northern lights!!! They were so friendly and communicative and loved our chance to visit with them!!! Perfect spot as a base camp as we day tripped to the Artic Circle and Denali!!!! Having a washer and dryer helped our packing to stay less and thankful for detergent to use too!!! They thought of everything and if we are ever back in North Pole will stay here again- NO DOUBT!!!

Nicely decorated. Well stocked. Nice size rooms. A wood pallet as front steps was a negative. Wood was splintered. Stove could've been cleaner. Overall, more positives than negatives.
