Airy Ellijay Home w/ Spacious Creekside Deck!

Stay was great! Had everything we needed and more, kitchen was stocked up, beds were extremely comfortable and minimal check out requirements. Kurt allowed us to check in early and he was attentive! Would definitely stay again.

This cabin is definitely in the woods. Absolutely beautiful and quiet. The sound of the creek water along with the already prepared fire pit was amazing. This was also the cleanest home we have ever rented. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ellijay.

Excellent communication with property host. Well stocked kitchen. Large, spacious rooms. The only drawback was the distance to shops- about 30 minutes to grocery stores- and the somewhat difficult drive to access the property. We stayed in the fall, however, I would imagine the property could be inaccessible in snow or ice depending on your vehicle. Just something to be aware of.

Very peaceful with everything you need.Comfortable.Narrow Gravel road approach partway and steep downward entry.Somewhat intimidating.Exit not well marked.Overall very good place for my daughter and myself.No trail for walking.

This place is amazing! Kitchen is stocked and the porch is great. It was very clean and everything was as it looked in the pictures.

We had a great time in the cottage by the creek. It was a peaceful place. The kitchen was nice and had the things we needed to cook our meals. the beds were comfy. There was a firepit that we sat by one afternoon just listening the creek. It was a chilly weekend but we were on a music retreat to write songs. It was a great place for that. The owners even left us fresh farm eggs for us. Such a nice touch! There is a Dollar General store about 15 minutes away if you need something last minute.

Had a blast

This cottage overly exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the perfect amount of space for our family. We were blown away by all the attention to details left by Kurt and the organization of everything. We loved the deck and the creek running right by the house. My kids had the best time playing in the creek and we so enjoyed the firepit. We felt like all the necessities was taken care of which is a huge burden lifted when traveling for a short weekend. We will for sure be returning to stay here on our next weekend trip to Ellijay!

Loved the cabin! Master bedroom bed was super comfy!! the stream is right outside the cabin. Wish they had had ESPN on their TV package - but we survived...lol.... Thanks for a super time!

The property has wonderful appeal as you pull up with a nice exterior and beautiful landscaping. Once inside, it only get better as it's an upscale mountain lodge decor with high ceilings and a chef's kitchen. All new appliances with gas (a chef's dream!). The back porch is well equipped with a fire pit and very nice grill overlooking the most beautiful and serene mountain creek. Would come back and stay 10/10 times. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time! The cabin is located on a gravel road right outside town giving it the feel of being completely off the grid. We did not have cell service, but the internet worked perfectly. Inside, it is spotless with more than enough room for our family of 5. Our three boys loved playing in the creek during the day and catching lightning bugs at night. Kurt left fresh eggs in the refrigerator before we arrived and even dropped off some summer veggies on the porch for us to enjoy with dinner. The boys began asking to come back on our next vacation before we had even finished this one! Highly recommend!

My mother lived on this same road for many years and her best friend still does. The Cottage was smack dab between their places. My daughter grew up playing in the creek and my grandson continued that on our vacation. The Cottage was ideal, perfectly appointed & relaxing yet so much to do. Trying to catch crawdads, chasing fireflies for the first time, seeing deer & bear tracks, going to the farmers market, apple house & making s’mores. My family & I loved it and loved showing my grandkids a beautiful, simpler way of life. Hated to leave!

This is our second stay in this amazing cabin, and both trips have been amazing. We will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed our week stay at this Ellijay cabin. We had a fair amount of rain the week we stayed here but truly didn’t care as the cabin felt cozy and safe and we had the vacation we needed. We did venture out to Ellijay and the little downtown area which was charming and fun to explore. We also hiked several different days at Carter’s Lake which was very doable and close enough. The cabin was well stocked and the fresh farm eggs and well stocked kitchen was a welcomed bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay. We do highly recommend this lovely cabin.
