Adorable Cottage with Wonderful Views of the Bay From the Screened Porch

Location was great for a small family. Having the water across the street, and a screened porch was the best. Needs a little better cleaning, but overall not bad. Could use heavier curtains in front bed room to block street lights.

We enjoyed the cottage, it was clean and the location was good. My only regret is that the weather got bad and we were advised to leave so we left on Saturday morning rather than Monday as we booked it for however, they were correct to ask us the leave because of the flooding. I didn’t know if I could had requested a refund? We will most likely book it again but will try to be sure the weather is going yo be better.

This cottage was the perfect blend of comfort and nostalgia — just what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We especially loved spending our mornings and evenings on the front porch, taking in the peaceful view of the bay. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.

Water views, cute little backyard, no parking worries and easy walk to boardwalk and beach.The house left a lot to be desired, which is a bummer given the potential it offers. No patio furniture cushions, no shade on the beautiful deck except one tiny little corner. We rented under the impression there was a BBQ grill so my husband could prep some meals for the family....when we arrived we found out the listing was outdated and the BBQ grill had been removed. The house was littered with ants. There is an infestation in the bathroom next to shower. I shared this with the staff and it was offered to have someone come out to place traps and told to be mindful of taking out our trash. I replied only to hear nothing back. The ants only became worse. At times they were in our bed, on the bathroom sink, couches, etc. I reached out to ask for a working vacuum so we could be diligent about cleanliness and did not receive one. At the time we extended our stay, we were locked out of the house because the lock was forgotten to be reset. No big deal if this was the only issue during our stay. The lock on the slider in the bedroom required maintenance to come out and loosen before it could be used. In addition the the ants, there are a lot of cobwebs and spiders. Again, no big deal... but things begin to add up. At the time of our extension, I reached out asking for one or two trash bags and a roll of toilet paper to get us through the remainder of our stay. My email went unanswered. The remotes were in the wrong rooms and one was under the bed upon arrival. Overall, not our easiest visit, which is a shame because my family loved the location and I would, no doubt, rent this property again with a few tweaks.

This was a perfect little beach cottage-easily walkable but removed from the boardwalk chaos. Loved sitting on the screened porch overlooking the bay. Cute, cozy and comfortable. Thank you.

Best place we've stayed yet as far as location, space, and affordability. Seems the closer you are to downtown, the dirtier and smaller you get. Not this place...Very equipt with all we needed. Quick walk to board walk and beach so we didnt have to stuggle with parking. Owner called to check in with us after our stay to hope we enjoyed it. Overall, pleasureable.

A wonderful stay! Location was perfect, clean, and had everything we needed. I love waking up next to the ocean and having a cup of coffee seaside. The hosts we accomidating and very helpful with our check in process!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tulip house. It was super clean, beds were so comfortable. Loved the screened in patio and large rear deck. Great location if you don’t mind not being ocean front. You can sit and watch the boats go by all day on the bay.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful ocean front cottage the views were amazing. Close to the ocean and boardwalk. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and looking at the amazing ocean view. There are local stores and restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed our stay host provided almost everything for the stay and was clean and welcoming.
