The rooms seem magical and the master upstairs is like a private hotel room. Highly recommend! Only downside is the outside shower - hard to access without a clean path.

The primary room's king bed was so comfortable and the separate A/C for it was a dream. The 30A road noise/people didn't bother us from our room at night. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were good with great bathrooms and walk in showers. We do wish the primary bathroom was bigger. It was so nice to have a smart tv in every room and the kids played board games that were available. Kitchen was nice, however, that part of the house did to cool off well - probably due to all the windows and French doors on that side. The only real problem we had was roaches. The management came and brought us traps and spray right away. We aren't super freaked out by them but I could see how it may bother other visitors a lot. Hopefully they will be gone next time or for the next people. Thank you for letting us stay and use your home - it really is lovely and we would stay again for sure.

The location was perfect! Close to the square and beach access. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The upper balcony was perfect for a morning coffee and people watching with a view of the Gulf. The house does have a lot of stairs and steps but we needed the added exercise. The house was so close we didn’t even get the teens bikes. They walked everywhere.

Truly... we get it every year except the COVID year when we had it but all was on hold... that said, i wish there was a broom to sweep sand as It is quieter than the vac and also wish there were new coffee cups and the rusty porch railings were fixed.otherwise perfect 💕

Two beach towels and a beach bag were provided which was a nice touch. General floorplan layout could be difficult for some people with lots of stairs. Master suite had tiny bathroom with a clawfoot tub in the middle of the room.

There was an issue with the leak in the closet in the downstairs left bedroom. The maintenance crew was quick to respond. There was still a drip, drip, drip sound after they left. The closet did not show any more water. Since the property is one of the oldest properties (Dreamboat icluded) plumbing issues, perhsps the owners need to think about taking on the expense of correcting the issue.

The kitchen and dinning area opens up to the upstairs porch with Sonos sound, great for sitting, visiting, games, cocktails, etc. When you stay at Sabbatical, you may ask yourself Sabbatical or Serenity?

Perfect location! One block to everything you could want or need. Easy access to the beach. Very welcoming property management. Loved the decor and house.
