Stayed Jul 19, 2020Wonderful time staying at this great place! The manager even put out a container of corn so we could feed the deer who come up to the house. Everything but food provided. We’re looking forward to staying again in the future.

Stayed Dec 17, 2025Such a beautiful place to stay. It is not far from Main Street, so you get the best of both worlds by being out in the country yet still close to town. The place has everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The deer visit regularly and the hosts are great in communicating with you. This was my second time to stay there and the place has been amazing both times. I would highly recommend!

Stayed Apr 23, 2025The home was clean and well-supplied. It does not have a screened back porch as the listing states, which turned out to be fine. We loved the serenity of the location and sitting out on the front or back porch to enjoy the deer, rabbits, and birds. We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can return.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025This was a great location if you enjoy a quiet peaceful location near Fredericksburg. Quick trip into town or surrounding areas. Place felt like home so cozy and well equipped with kitchen essentials. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a herd of deer. We needed to stay an extra day due to adverse weather. Host was very accommodating. Would stay there again!

Stayed Jul 13, 2023We visit family once a year and like to stay where we are out of town, but not too far. Ace of Hearts was perfect! The deer and birds in the back were enjoyed every evening. One day we left out and went the opposite way of town to take in the scenery on the way to Enchanted Rock, great drive. Eveyrthing was clean, comfortable, and so so peaceful.
