We had a wonderful time in Colorado and this was a grrat location to use a base to visit both denver and Colorado springs. The house had enough activities for the kids to stay busy. Chris was very responsive and very helpful. Would stay again
We had plenty of room for the 7 adults and 2 children. Jesus was very responsive and offered to come help when we couldn’t get the heat working. He helped us figure it out we never ran out of water for showers and the beds were fairly comfortable.
Plenty of room to accommodate a small family gathering to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. Beautiful pinery views in most directions. Was actually greeted at door by 3 deer munching on the landscape. Wonderful time!
Nice, sizeable place for a fair price. Host was very communicative, and flexible with check in and check out times. The exterior could use some up keep (weeds growing out of cracks, decks and stairs need to be scraped and stained), but it was too hot to sit outside so didnt impact our stay. The interior is quite nice. Kitchen was fully stocked including extras not always found at other properties. Location is convenient. Saw lots of deer up close.
Chris was very accommodating, allowing early check in as well as late check out, and also super quick to respond to any questions or concerns that came up before and while we were there. The property itself is in need of some maintenance and upkeep. The front porch and back deck both need to be scraped and stained, with the back deck having at least one loose board. The landscape, while Colorado natural, still needs to be maintained. There are lots of weeds around the property, in areas that shouldn't normally have weeds, including coming up through the deck and in all of the perimeter rocks around the home. We actually had to pull weeds to clear the way from the steps down to the grassy area. We hosted an outside welcome reception and the space was perfect, I was just a little embarrassed about having our family and friends see the poor condition of the porch, deck and landscape. The sliding screen door kept coming off and the chairs at the kitchen table/nook area are wobbly and probably need to be replaced. Overall, we had a great time, Chris was a very good host, but in my honest opinion, I think the property needs some attention.
It was a nice place for our family members to congregate for our 5 day stay. Plenty of room for everyone.
Great large house, close to fun, food and the mountains
We were in town from Texas for my nephew's wedding at Highland Ranch on April 1, 2023. We needed a place for at least 8 of us that was fairly close to the venue (about a 30-minute drive which is nothing for us Texans) and Chris and Amanda's place fit the bill. Chris was extremely helpful as my 89-year-old mother-in-law was in need of a shower chair and he happily provided one. The walk-in shower was perfect. We would definitely stay again.
Chris's home worked great for our group in town for a local church conference. Spacious and well kept!
Nice Place
House was perfect for our group. Great views and deer outside everyday. Patio was a little wobbly but no other complaints. Chris responded immediately to all questions.
Good
Quiet and relaxing. It was a little father then we expected and we thought it would be a little more exclusive. The owners were nice and the cabin was very nice.
We were here for 11 days. This location was perfect for our needs for our softball tournament and sightseeing. Chris was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was exactly as it was described. Beds were all very comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped. We had a group of 9 of us in the house and it accomodated us very well with room to enjoy our time together. multiple sitting areas were nice to allow us time together and in smaller groups. The neighborhood provided many great areas for short, scenic walks and chance to see deer in the area. Chris was very responsive to my questions and quickly answered all inquiries. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and worry free.
We had a pretty good stay. The things we saw was that the house was old and needed some updates.
