THE COMMUNITY
CB South is a small community just south of the town of Crested Butte/Mt. CB. We have local amenities like a restaurant, coffee shop, liquor store, general store, a full gym, salon, and the brand new Zuni West Brewery. We're also only 15 minutes from Almont with famous fishing & white water rafting. And Gunnison is 25 minutes south of us with a ton of activities like their white water park, rock climbing, mountain biking & shopping (boutiques as well as Walmart & City Market).

Guest access
Guests have full access to the home and backyard amenities. Please note, the garage is partitioned & not for parking, but you're welcome to use the accessible part to store your bikes, skis & other toys. The garage also holds the duplex's shared trash & recycling.

Parking
• Easily park 3 cars (or 4 cars if you don’t mind blocking one in).
• EV Charging is available at the park, 1 minute away
• If you have a camper or trailer(s) please let us know the dimensions so we can be sure it’ll fit comfortably

Backyard
- please be mindful that there is a drop off between the upper back yard and the lower back yard. If you have any concerns about your little ones, we can install a boundary net before your arrival.
- the lower backyard is currently undergoing some landscaping work throughout the summer with additional stairs being installed. This does not affect the upper backyard.
- the neighboring side of the duplex has a trampoline. You or your little ones may use it if you sign a release waiver ahead of time to ensure everyone's safety.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Our home is designed with families and groups in mind, offering ample space and amenities for all ages. If you're a solo or business traveler, you'll have beyond enough space.

We kindly ask guests to remove their shoes to ensure the longevity of our new carpet and hardwood floors.

Safety is a priority; if you have young children, we can install a boundary net in the backyard upon request.

We have Dark Skies regulations to ensure everyone has spectacular views of the stars, so please remember to turn off outdoor lights when not in use.

Please let us know if you plan to use the primary bedroom's gas fireplace -- the pilot light heats up the room, so we normally keep it turned off, but happy to have it ready to go when you arrive.

We have in-floor radiant heat which can take several hours to reach your desired temperature. Feel free to let us know your ideal temp & we can set it ahead of time for you!

It can get dicey when it's icy! If you are booking in the winter months, it's highly recommended that you have 4-wheel drive or at least snow tires since our home is halfway up a hill.

Cell service in our area of the mountains can be very spotty. We recommend using Wifi calling while connected to the home's wifi (we have an advanced mesh Wifi network).

We have no cameras on the property so if you need anything just call, text, or knock next door!

Booked this unit and had a tremendous stay. 3 bedroom 3.5 bath, can sleep a lot. Just down the street is the main shuttle pickup for easy transport to ski resort / town whatever you need. Great home. Two outside spaces, hot tub, bbq grill, firepit, gas range kitchen with all the needed items. Fantastic stay. Greg the host is tremendous and was greatly accessible. Had a great time in Created Butte! The dining and downtown area exceeded expectations. Great little mountain town and a wonderful home to experience it from.

Loved staying at this vrbo during a family/friends short ski trip vacation. The vrbo was clean, and had almost everything we needed. Additionally, this vrbo location is 10-15 minutes away from Creste Butte Mountain Resort, but there's a shuttle that can take to the resort easily you need more flexibility. Lastly, the host was great and really appreciated the communication once we arrived in Creste Butte!

Greg was extremely helpful and communicative. The check in process was great and we had everything that we needed for a great stay. It was very family friendly. The hot tub was clean and had amazing views of the stars. Greg greeted us and provided a great list of hikes and activities he recommended. When we were leaving, our vehicle needed oil. There wasn’t anywhere in our direction of travel that was convenient to make a stop. Greg gave us a quart from his garage!

From the kitchen to the bathrooms, the house is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The décor and layout make it feel both welcoming and spacious, with plenty of little touches that made us feel right at home. It's definitely great for those that have a big family.Check-in was seamless, with clear communication every step of the way. Greg went above and beyond as a host—he not only provided great local recommendations for things to do in Crested Butte but also made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning!

This place blew us away. The host was incredible—communicative, thoughtful, and made sure everything was dialed before we even arrived. The home itself? Spotless. Not a fingerprint out of place. The fit and finish were top-notch—everything felt brand new and well-designed, with real attention to detail. The views? Unreal. Straight out of a postcard. We spent every chance we had on the back deck soaking it all in, and the hot tub was actually hot—a rarity and a serious win after a day of riding. With two separate living rooms, the house gave everyone space to relax without being on top of each other. Plenty of room for our entire crew, and we all had privacy when we wanted it.Best part? We literally unloaded and rode straight to Cement Creek from the property. No trailer hassle, no wasted time—just fire up and go.This spot checked every box and then some. We’re already talking about our next stay. Don’t hesitate—book it.

This place is located minutes from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. The property itself is stunning, new and artfully decorated with epic views. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and we had a great time cooking here. We ate on the deck every day. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was our fave. Our fisherman ventured out every day and were successful just 30 minutes away.Six of us stayed with a bathroom for each set of guests. We could have easily fit in more people! Gregg is a fabulous and attentive host with a quick response time. We are already dreaming about coming back!!
