A NEWER UPSCALE LAKEFRONT HOME WITH POOL

Nice but…Stayed Nov 2025 for 5 nights. Property is nice but has some “flaws”. The biggest problem is the mattresses/beds are terrible. All seven guests had terrible sleep every night. Sagging mattresses, springs could be felt, beds creaked every time you move, 2 beds were propped up underneath with bricks and wood. We used 4 of 5 bedrooms, so it was a consistent pattern. The property is very steep. Getting to the lake might be difficult if you have any knee, back or mobility issues. The driveway is very steep and challenging to park vehicles side by side unless they are small cars. There is a beautiful elevated view of the lake. The house is very spacious with an open concept. There is plenty of space to cook and enjoy family time. We saw ducks each morning and a bald eagle one day. It was winter so we did not use the pool or grill. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, a drip coffee maker, crockpot, hand mixer, blender, toaster, microwave, etc. If you’re going to cook a lot, you might need measuring cups and spoons and larger mixing bowls. (I had brought those)Our host Lesa was very nice and easy to communicate with. I did let her know about the beds along with a broken window pane (that we did not break). She said the mattresses were only about 4 years old, and offered 2 free nights if we wanted to come back in the offseason. While we enjoyed our time and the house, I don’t think we would return until the mattresses are replaced.

Beautiful setting and beautiful property. Perfect for our family including young children. Plenty to do at the property and accessible to Huntsville so we were able to go to the Space and Rocket Center, etc. Everyone had a great time. Our host, Lesa, was very friendly and accommodating so that was a big plus as well.

We all had a great time. Views were beautiful, the kiddos had some fun in the lake and we all enjoyed the pool. Five adults, two teens and a nine year old on our trip everyone had comfortable sleeping quarters. We do an annual family trip usually to the beach or the mountains, every one agreed this trip was the best to date!! Lisa, thank you for the opportunity!!

Lesa is great house and pool really nice.We rented pontoon for 2 days and could leave at dock overnight.

Stayed a few days with my family. We enjoyed our ability to keep our boat at the dock. We enjoyed nearby restaurants and fishing. Our host was amazing and had great recomendations!

Our Hostess,Lisa was delightful. The house is a perfect size for the 12 people that we had with us. Younger folks went kayaking and enjoyed that. If you are older with bad knees or hips and still have issues you would definitely want to stay in one of the three bedrooms upstairs on the main level. The kitchen and family room were on this level. My husband and I did go down the stairs to the basement level and pool which was fine. Our family really enjoyed our Labor Day weekend vacation. You and your family should try it sometime. upstairs

So beautiful, so many things todo. An the host Lesa was just the greatest 10/10!

The house was beautiful and roomy enough for our large family. Lesa was very responsive and personally showed us the property and location of all essentials. Will stay here again!

My family enjoyed this setting for sure. So quiet peaceful. We slept comfortably. Lisa was very accomadating.It was closed to so many thing.a mexican restraunt was suggested. The best we have ever been to .Julias.wonderful meal.

It’s a beautiful location perfect for family and kids of all ages. Lesa the house host was very tentative to all our needs and if we needed anything she would drop it at the front door. The only thing I would say is the in line down to the boat ramp is very steep . 5 stars for sure.I would definitely recommend it
