A magical setting with ocean and marsh views!

The property was gorgeous! The decor was beautiful and the home felt very clean. The beds were comfy and felt clean... My only suggestion would be to have some of the basics available, including coffee filters (the most important item of the day!)

House was clean inside and out. Furnishing were nice and up to date. It was a great place to stay ands short walk to the beach.

I my husband and I with our two dogs greatly enjoyed our stay for the first time on oak island. It was a peaceful get away with gorgeous marsh views and an easy walk to the beach. We had the choice between two master bedrooms with king beds. The kitchen was well appointed, and communication was by far the best of any place. We’ve stayed through VRBO.

New Horizons is a beautiful home! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and well equipped. The location was excellent. It was a quick walk to the beach and the home had views of both the inlet and the ocean. We look forward to staying at New Horizons again soon.

The host is incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. The home is just as you see in the pictures but better in person. Very clean, open, comfortable, easy access to beach. Our mini family vaca was just a few days but we felt so at home it was the best stay we’ve had in a long time! Oak Island is now our summer vacation home, they are pet friendly and allow you to take your furry friend on the beach all day (with leash). It was a doggie paradise for our pup with so many doggies on the beach for them to play! Our family did not want to leave and we will definitely be back next year!

The property itself is very nice and the location is good, being just a short walk to the beach. Beds very comfortable and everything relatively clean - they could have done a better job cleaning windows which were all pretty dirty. But, this place has absolutely no ‘extras’ to make your week (or more) feel like anything more than a hotel stay. No more than a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, absolutely bare kitchen - not even salt/pepper, and no cleaning supplies or garbage bags. Left us with one dishwasher pod and that was about it. We spent a week with no hot water in the kitchen (they couldn’t fix) and for the amount of money you pay I thought it was pretty bare bones and I’d not rent here again.

This house was amazing. Tall enough for our truck and boat with a T-top to fit underneath with plenty of parking for other vehicles. Very neat and uncluttered home. Short walk to the beach. Large rooms and plenty of dresser space to unpack your clothes. The kitchen pantry was empty so it held all of our groceries. This was very nice as we didn’t have to leave everything on the counter. The front porch has good views of the ocean and the back sound view was so relaxing. We will definitely try to rent again.

What a great week!!! We vacationed with our kids, their spouses and children, plus our furbabies!! The house was well equipped, close to the beach with beautiful views.

Property is exactly as advertised and a very clean property.
