A LOU, A haven of peace with its private jacuzzi for nature lovers !

Falling asleep to the sounds of nature, waking up to a gorgeous view, being able to visit the rest of the island, then come home to relax in the hot tub - this was exactly what we were after, and found it! Muriel and her husband were absolutely lovely, and on our first night made the most amazing tuna tartare I've ever had. We also loved the occasional visits from their dog leelee, feeding fruit to the birds, and a great little cat. I will mention that the roads getting there are not for the faint of heart, but by the end we drove it like locals. Absolutely recommend this hidden oasis.

The hosts Muriel and Patrick were extremely welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at their rental and I am happy to recommend it to others. The suite was immaculate and came with all the necessary cookware and utensils. Their pets visited on occasion and made it feel like home. AC was not required. The cooling breezes and fan were sufficient. Communication with Muriel before, during and after our stay was excellent. She responded to our many questions and few concerns quickly. The location is quite central for exploring the southern half of the island. A great introduction to our first week in Martinique. Thank you very much.

We had a really lovely stay at this charming and peaceful bungalow, which is just a few minutes’ drive from many of the best beaches on the island. The view from the terrace was exceptional and the space itself was pristine, comfortable and more spacious than it appears to be in the pictures. There is no AC but given the location and structural layout of the home, it is always exposed to a gentle breeze that keeps the place pleasantly cool throughout the day and night. Muriel and Patrice are very sweet and welcoming hosts who offered us many delicious snacks during our stay and were always available to share tips and advice for the island, and lent us snorkeling gear and other beach accessories. A highlight of our stay was their kind invitation to join their friends’ Christmas festivities, which allowed us to experience a traditional Martinique Christmas celebration – delicious Shrubbs and pain au beurre dipped in hot chocolate included!
