The Oar House is an awesome place no matter the time of year. It's great in the summer for water play and relaxing. The view is spectacular, and you can swim right from the deck. It's beautiful in the fall when the autumn leaves are reflecting on the lake. Not far to a Clemson football game and then back to the lake to enjoy the autumn weather. Stayed Jun 6, 2025This place is great for our family . We bring 5 cars and 3 kayaks, so large parking area is great for us. Water area is great for all 8 adults it enjoys with floaties , perfect!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024We had a multigenerational group that enjoyed the house and location. It’s our second stay and each time gets better-Coffee on the porch, Swimming off the dock, games around the big table and easy access to Landrum and Tryon. We already look forward to next year.
