Nice concept but the place needs serious cleaning. The toilet is stained yellow and the shower as well. The water smells horrible which makes showers pretty rough. Stay somewhere else or just stay home.
This locations GPS location is not accurate in maps and should be taken directly from the pin drop on the information page. Having to figure this out delayed me from checking in by two hours. This location's water heater causes the water to smell rusty and sulphuric, which prevented from using the running water as much as I would have liked. The kitchen is also missing pots and only has pot lids and a single pan. The AC unit is mostly unresponsive and confusing to use, so it's hard to manage the temperature inside for the most part.
The place meet all our simple needs for an MTB vacation.
This was my very first Vacasa stay and it waa great.
This was a great place to stay with my family. We would love to come back.
A nice stay, close to Leavenworth (15 min car ride); lots of space; quiet; full kitchen was nice to have; fun to play foosball (missing one player) and the pool table had active bumpers! (gotta fix those sticks though - more than half were broken) My teens were happy to have the bunk beds and all of the furniture was comfy. The only reason its not a 5 star is there are some things I think you should put in your description. Its on a well and the sulfur smell/taste of the water can be off putting. I brought water to drink and a bag of ice but that should be disclosed. Also - only 2 glasses to drink from. There were 4 of us - thankfully a prior guest left some plastic cups. I knew it was going to be over 100 degrees so I brought a few box fans - glad I did. It wasn't too hot inside but the fans added a nice cooling touch. Overall, its a really cool spot and I'm glad we stayed for the 2 nights.
Based on the photos presented in the advertisement we knew that we were getting no-frills, cheap place to sleep, so we could hit the trails early the next morning and crash again after a long day of hiking. However, based on those pictures, we did expect cleanliness. Prior to arrival we received a generic Vacasa email assuring us of extra measures taken to ensure cleanliness due to the coronavirus pandemic. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that not only were additional measures not taken, the property had actually not been cleaned AT ALL since the previous renters left. A child's discarded slipper and a large sticky mess on the painted concrete floor greeted us at the doorway. The bedding was disheveled and left piled on beds and on the laundry machines, meaning that not a bed in the place was ready for new guests. Dirty dishes and food bits were left in sink, on the counter, and the stove top. A dried bowl of chili was found in the microwave and moldy coffee grounds and leftover coffee were found in the coffee pot. We contacted Vacasa and waited on hold for more than an hour before being redirected to James, the property manager for this and the property sharing the same lot. He assured us this was out of the ordinary, made arrangements for cleaning to happen the next day, although we had already begun taking care of much of the mess ourselves, and arranged for some adjustment in price due to the poor conditions of the property. The cleaning person did come the next day and did a thorough cleaning job. For the night though we needed clean bedding and thus had to run the wash continuously to do so. Two detergent pods were available which meant that we needed to go buy some to have a clean bed to sleep on. We discovered that the washing machine and other ammenities could not run simultaneously due to the restrictions of the well this property uses. We were unable to wash dishes, take a shower, or flush the toilet while doing the wash. The whole place is in a general state of disrepair as well, having obvious roof damage from water leakage, ripped throw pillows, and torn couches. This will not be on our list of places to return to. I am still awaiting James return of the money which he said would be taken care of July 10th. It is August 5th. I would not recommend this property or its management.
Everything was great and as expected. Just nitpicking but the foosball table needs really foosballs instead of ping pong balls and beds weren’t super comfy.
I loved that they managed to turn a garage into a spacious and comfortable game room. There is a separate room with a bed and bunk beds in the main space. The bunk beds are a bit creaky and were a tad uncomfortable at times, but otherwise everything was perfect. The place has a pool table and a foosball table, all the kitchenware you'd require and a giant TV. This is perfect for families and groups of friends who want to spend a weekend away from the city. There is also a little fire pit outside.
Beside the people across the street running a back hoe and a chainsaw basically non stop me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. The mattresses on the futons were a little hard to stay on but for the amount of fun me and my friends had that wasn’t a big deal. We did have one question... there is a hot tub on the back of the main house and we were wondering if people staying in unit b have access to it if no one is renting out the man house? Enjoyed playing pool and foosball. Leavenworth is 10.1 miles away but it’s such a beautiful drive. Looking forward to renting this place out again in the future. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay here.
