It was a very nice stay. My family of four stayed here for 5 weeks to support my 16-year old son because he managed to get himself into a research internship at a company near by. It was a 7-min walk to his work place, we all felt safe walking around in the neighborhood. There was an earlier review complaining about the weak window unit a/c. Not true, this townhouse has a very strong central a/c, we survived a few triple digit days w/o problems. The water pressure was great. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower. On multiple occasions, the two showers were being used at the same time, water pressure was maintained, no problem whatsoever. Check-in and check-out were easy, the owner was very responsive. I had to take 0.3 off the 5.0 full score. 1) all the furniture was showing its age; 2) the entrance door was sagging, therefore it was kinda tricky to use the digital lock. One had to lift and push the door outward to lock the door. Overall we were very satisfied. Looks like VRBO would only allow whole number ratings, thus I rounded up 4.7 to 5.

We were not in the Portland area for pleasure but it was so nice to have a nice place to come home to for the two months we were here. The location & proximity to services & shopping couldn’t have been more convenient. The layout, with 2 bdrms AND 2 baths plus upstairs laundry was ideal for our needs. I would especially like to mention how comfortable the beds were! I would stay here again if I ever need to be in the Portland area again.

The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. Parking is right outside the front door. The location is central to major shopping centers and several good restaurants are nearby. The rail line is within walking distance and the landlord is both responsive and cooperative.

This is a comfortable home away from home. 2 bedroom/2 bath/2 free & easy parking at the front door. The area is quiet and away from street traffic. Both bedrooms are upstairs as are the washer/dryer. Open area downstairs includes living/dining/kitchen. Beds/furniture are comfortable and it is equipped with kitchen and laundry supplies. There is easy access to the freeway, surface streets and nearby shopping. Our only problem was that we were in Portland during a heatwave in late August. The living area has a portable ac and the master bedroom has a window unit. The second bedroom has a fan but it was useless in the heat. All it did was blow hot air around a hot room. Using the dryer heated the hallway as well. Opening windows did not help b/c there was no breeze. Our 3rd party had to sleep on a mattress on the floor of the living room - pretty difficult when you're 70! Who can guarantee weather these days? No one! So, I highly recommend that the owners install an AC window unit in bedroom #2 so that future tenants can give a 5 star rating. (Note: The owner did reimburse our 3rd person a small amount after our complaint but it no way compensated for the discomfort and inconvenience.)

The property was clean, well-furnished, and very convenient to Intel and other places in Hillsboro. Everything worked well. I will plan on staying here again in the future whenever business requires my visiting the area.

My adult son and I visited the Portland area and stayed in this townhouse. Everything we needed was there. It's in a nice location, tucked back into a compact neighborhood, (ie, there is parking but tight quarters for a big vehicle.) but it was very quiet. We didn't get to use the walking paths noted due to very poor weather. A little bit of a hike to the train station, but certainly walkable. Good restaurants and shops within a short drive. One thing that should be noted is the there is no bathroom on the main floor. Both baths are upstairs with the bedrooms. If you have anybody who has problems climbing steps, this wouldn't work. TV experiences a lot of interference with the signal, but wi-fi was strong. Keyless entry was handy. Not really anyplace to sit outside, ie...no patio. Bed was very comfortable. Not necessarily 4 star hotel clean, but worked just fine. Would I stay there again? For the money? Yes. A bargain.

We felt this place was barely adequate. It looked messy, with old TV sitting in living room and cable wires all over TV stand. Small window A/C unit did not provide any cooling for the hotter weather. With four people, furniture was uncomfortable. One thin towel for each of us and not enough washcloths. Partial rolls of toilet paper and no trash bags. Smoke detector kept going off. When we tried to reach the owner, his phone said not accepting calls. However, the location was good for accessing Hwy 26 and the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course.
