Great location, great price for the size. Plenty of fans to use during the hotter seasons.
Property manager said he would have someone fix the tv-cable never did we came back to all the outside chairs moved and he had no answer for it also he stopped texting me about not having a working tv with cable that never got fixed not a great stay
We liked the set up, the beds, the ground floor re model. We likes the balcony. We felt at home. Would have given 5 stars, but oven doesnt work, ceiling fan doesnt work, the internet didnt work, only three forks and the bottom of the main floor shower is pealing away. We liked our stay and would book again, notwithstanding all the above.
Great location away from the hustle and bustle but within 5 minutes of great food, shopping and activities.
We loved the location of the property. The decoration was fun and comfortable. The cabin was clean and the amenities were adequate for a short stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area. the moon rise and sun rise from the deck was beautiful. The negatives were the showers are worn and should be replaces. The cleaning fee doubled the price of the advertised rental..
I stayed here with my wife and 6 year old daughter. We loved the location. The house is unique, and quirky. There are lots of bear decorations which we thought was entertaining. I used the gas grill which worked as expected. The grill looked fairly new and was well cared for. We also had a small fire in the fire pit which was nice. The bathroom on the first floor is basic, and the shower could use a renovation, but works fine. The bedroom upstairs in the loft is nice, big bed, likely a king. You do have to go up a narrow metal spiral staircase to get up there, so probably not great if you have little kids. However, there are plenty of other bedrooms to choose from. We didn't use any of the bedrooms downstairs, so I can't comment on them, but they looked fine. Balcony was nice, kitchen is small but functional. I couldn't figure out how to get the gas fireplace to work. There is no remote or wall mounted control and the inner controls seemed too complicated to me. Overall, it was a great stay, and everything is how it is described in the listing. There are lots of things to do within a 30 - 40 minute drive. I wish we had more time to go to some of the cute little restaurants in Bethlehem and Littleton. Overall I'd recommend this place if you are into the cabin sort of feel.
The inside of the home was clean.
My husband and I really liked this house. It was on a quiet street with lots of shade from the trees around it. The house itself is a neat A frame with a loft bedroom and then 3 additional bedrooms on the first and basement levels. We opted to sleep in the king bed on the basement level because it was cooler. The mattresses are firm so if that is a concern bring something soft to go on top of them. The fire pit and basement dining room/ game room were very cool amenities which we definitely took advantage of during our stay. There is also a grill but we didn't use it. There is no A/C which is normal in the White Mountains. But it wasn't really noticable because the property is well shaded by trees. We found that a fan was all we needed when it got really hot outside (90 F). This is a cabin, so it rustic in nature. There may be bugs, critters outside, the need for extension cords, or creative planning when using the small kitchen. But that is what vacation homes are about, it is part of the charm. I would definitely recommend this place for a family getaway or even just a couple or a group of friends. There is ample room. And it is a close drive to a number of White Mountain spots to swim or hike. I would highly recommend trying the food at Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill and the burgers at the Little Grille in Littleton. Those places do not disappoint. Overall this was a really nice place to stay.
Nice place for the most part, the bathrooms are rustic and lower level a little musty. But good location, lots of local craft breweries, also close to Littleton which has fun activities for most of the summer once again. Id stay here again just don’t forget your shower shoes
We had a great time with the family on this property. It was like camping but a lot more comfortable. It’s not that new but it has all the feel of a cabin / lodge on the mountains.
