Great house in a private community with the access to the lake and the pool. We had a an amazing time!
Thank you so much to the owners for renting this place to us! We had a fun weekend away with our friends and loved getting the chance to get away and spend some quality time together. The décor was quaint and homey and the kitchen was well stocked with dishware, spices, and appliances. However, there seemed to be a cleanliness problem. When we first arrived, we found some towels that appeared to be used hanging in the closet as well as crumbs in the bed and pieces of trash under the bed. Later in the weekend we ran out of toilet paper and had to purchase some. We also found items in the dryer and dishes in the dishwasher. It seemed like the house didn’t get cleaned between the last people had left and when we got there.
cozy home, spacious for 6-8 people, open layout, most kitchen necessities, paper goods & bedding and towels are there. Neatly kept but dirty, musty, dusty & cobwebs. Main ceiling fan inoperable (no AC in the house therefore a necessity to have a functional ceiling fan in August). Family room furniture was filthy and worn out. Dead bugs on kitchen range. Shower curtain had mold on it, hair bands were left in the shower caddy from a previous person. Ping pong table was broken, unable to use it. Hair in the bed sheets. Hassle and delay getting the wristbands for the amenities… HEADS UP… if you check in on a Sunday, your wristbands and amenities will not be available until Monday, we were not informed until AFTER we booked & paid for the house. Late receiving the wristbands on Monday. Another heads up, there is a broken hot tub and a broken tree fort at the property. The tree fort is an hazard. Owner did respond to the issues unfortunately no fixes, just excuses.
Stayed the weekend. Close to hiking, rafting, and other outdoor activities. There was a issue with the showers and leaky/broken showerhead. Brian responded quickly when informed of the problem. I would stay here again.
Our stay was very enjoyable. The house accommodated us well with plenty of beds. The linens and towels provided were good quality and there appeared to be extras if needed. The kitchen worked well for us and gave us the basics to make a few easy dinners. The area is very quiet with lots of deer to see! The community pool and club house were easy to use. The snack bar/stand at the club house was nice and family oriented. Would stay here again.
