A bit of heaven on the Cape, Sandwich beach house!

Home is very nicely appointed and nestled in a well kept, beach community. In light of us visiting in the, After Labor Day Shoulder Season, it was very quiet. Josh was very responsive to the one very tiny issue we had, missing fireplace remote. The fire pit outside was a lovely alternative.

Josh was very friendly and helpful, before and during our stay. Communication was excellent!House is clean, comfortable, outdoor shower so nice after our beach days. Beautiful, uncrowded beach a 5 min walk from house, and the water was perfect, We enjoyed backyard firepit every night. We d love to stay here next summer, too!

What an incredible experience! We have stayed at multitudes of VRBOs in the US and overseas and this is one of the best. There were four of us (we had a change in plans, didn’t use one of the bedrooms)—there was plenty of space for more guests if needed, though. We stayed five days in August. My husband worked from the upstairs desk for the week while the girls and I explored the cape. It was perfect! We walked to the beach (bring beach shoes—it is rocky but spectacular—quiet and private and gorgeous!) Josh had all the beach gear for us—chairs, towels, cart. All clean and in great working order. Everything about the house was wonderful—it was spotless, you would never know anyone else had been there. There were clear directions on everything—washer/dryer, dishwasher, thermostats, lights. That made it so easy! Josh has thought of everything to make the stay smooth and comfortable. There were separate towels to clean off the back patio furniture, the linens were fresh and new, the beds so very comfortable. Even the knives were sharp! It really wasn’t far (40 min) to the ferry port for Martha’s Vineyard and 20 min to the port for Nantucket. We also explored Chatham. While the house wasn’t down the street from those sights, we were more interested in the quiet neighborhood, private beach time, and the quality of the home. Josh was responsive and gracious in his communications with us. We definitely HIGHLY recommend a stay in this “bit of heaven”!

We stayed here with our two grand kids and had a great time. House and furnishings were perfect, The kids loved the big yard. WE ate on the patio most evenings.

Everything was very clean, the house smelled great! Plenty of towels and chairs for guests. The walk to the beach was short and in a very safe/cute neighborhood. Communication with host was fast and they were very knowledgeable on the area and surrounding areas.

What a beautiful house, wonderful house, and amazing week in the Cape! I will definitely stay here again!

This was our third year in a row at this wonderful Cape Code home. The house was great - very close to the beach in a great part of East Sandwich. The host is always helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation. We will be back next year.

This house was clean, beautiful, comfortable, had EVERYTHING we needed (linens, towels, beach towels, paper goods, beach wagon and chairs, etc), and was perfectly located. The yard is huge and wonderful - fire pit, dining area, and outdoor shower. Easy to walk to the end of the street beach, close to the town of Sandwich (ice cream, Treehouse Brewery, etc). The host was incredibly responsive for any questions/needs. We highly recommend and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and was perfect for accommodating 2 families. The location was perfect, and access to the private neighborhood beach (less than 5 minute walk) was such a perk (really enjoyed building a bonfire on the beach watching the sunset) and was not overcrowded. Josh was also an attentive and gracious host. We encountered an unexpected water shut off but Josh called right away to help get the situation rectified. Would highly recommend Josh’s home and would definitely come back and stay here again!
