Well, initially, the contact with the property manager was non-existent. I had requested information about local amenities, it wasn’t until I sent a follow up email that the question was responded to. I also had to send 2 emails to get a response on early check-in. The house was not very clean. There were markings on the walls from what appeared to be food or possibly other things because the markings were also in the bathrooms. The ceiling fans were covered in dust. Kitchen appliances were not clean. There was garbage and cans/bottles surrounding the property. There were cigarette butts all in the rocks in the backyard. There were empty bowls sitting around the property, broken trampoline, broken down golf cart, things of the nature on property. It is stated that the house is at the end of a dirt road that intersects with a “paved road” - not an accurate description. If the road had been paved, it was many many many years ago. The WiFi was absolutely horrific. Most of the time you couldn’t effect load a webpage. With little to no service, my phone functioned better off off WiFi. Overall, very dissatisfied with the accommodations. The only thing that really met the expectations was the spacious backyard & pavilion. I have attached photos of most of the issues addressed in this review.I even contacted the point of contact after we left because we believe we left sobering behind. More than 24 hours later, I still haven’t received a response & I had to send ANOTHER followemail

My husband and I stayed here while attending an event in Madera Canyon, about 40 min. away. The house is huge— bigger than we needed, but we enjoyed the space and especially sitting on the back porch watching the birds. Getting in and out of the property was a bit of a challenge— there is a gate that hast to be locked with a padlock that is sometimes very hard to open. the gate wants to swing open and can be hard to control. the dirt road is very potholes right at the gate entry and makes for unstable footing while trying the difficult maneuver of locking/unlocking the gate. Plus there were two dogs from the adjoining property who barked their heads off every time we went in or out. Otherwise, the place worked well for what we needed.

Wonderful house and property. Beautiful setting with cacti all around. Road problematic - full of HUGE potholes.

Good size house very accommodating for our large family. Decor could be updated but not deal breaker. Family was happy with whole experience! Neighbors were a little loud, but it was New Year’s eve and partied way unto the morning! If had to make quick trip back to Tucson would rent again!

Very nice house. Lots of games to play a lot of space to be in. This house is near perfect. Now the neighborhood is a different story. I'm glad we rented the vehicle we did because if we rented a car we would not have been able to get to the house that first night. They need to put a new lock box on the front of the house because we could barely get into it and I could barely put the key away in it when we had to leave. I'm sure this is my fault but I had a hard time getting a message to the owners to give them some suggestions. All in all it was a wonderful day we just wish the neighbors were better and the road was better.

The house and property were fabulous. We felt safe and comfortable inside. However, I was not at all prepared for the location. For many, I am sure it might feel like a desert oasis. But that is not what I was looking for. It is 8 miles from both federal and state prisons and, driving in from I-10 it seems as if it is in the middle of nowhere. It is not in the town of Sahuarita, but is on the outskirts of the town. The neighbors' property is very close and has broken-down vehicles and a dog that protects the property. Though the dog looked sweet and possibly friendly, I was not comfortable with it being off-leash and not confined to its property, especially, given that we brought our small dog. The vrbo property is fenced in with a chain link fence and a padlock. I did not feel safe enough to walk my dog around the area. Given its location, I had hoped to be able to walk to my grand-daughters house, but this was not possible for me. I had not anticipated the length or rough condition of the dirt road leading up to it. I think the description needs to be more specific about the location. After renting it, we learned that the nearest grocery store is 15 miles away. A much more minor complaint: the kitchen is well-equipped but the knives are in much need of sharpening and we didn't find a knife sharpener. On the positive side, the backyard is beautiful (though not secure for a small dog or amenable to a long-haired or curly-haired dog - except confined to lawn and patio).

Fabulous house - lots of open space, large working kitchen, fun pool table room, fenced yard with lovely outdoor sitting area. Great location to explore southern Arizona - right between Tucson and Green Valley. Neighbors have noisy roosters, goats and dogs. And they like to play their music loud all day long. Other than that, this place is a gem.

The house was large, roomy, and comfortable. It was clean, and the backyard was comfortable and relaxing with adequate seating and large grassy lawn. The access roads to the house are in deplorable condition. The house location is far from most attractions. The neighborhood surrounding the house is not attractive or conducive to taking walks. The immediate neighbor has a barking dog and many goats and plays loud music. The dog barked during the night and seemed to be not attended to. Nothing against the owners of the house which we enjoyed very much, but future customers should be made aware of these things.

We had such a great stay in Sahuarita to visit our family. The house is great for a group and a great common area to share meals and play games.
