Stayed Jun 10, 2023The property felt very homely and cosy. Was a very praceful getaway and the log fire was amazing. Wakong up to the kukaburras and other birds in the morning at the back porch was really nice. Will definently reccomend to family and friends also will stay again in the future.

Stayed Mar 17, 2023Loved our stay in Fairhaven. Cute property in a very peaceful area. Only issue we found was that a few of the lights had blown globes making it a bit dark inside, but perfect other than that.

Stayed Mar 11, 2023Strict rules and penalties. Was scared to touch anything without thinking about getting penalised. I would not recommend to stay at this place despite the price of accomodation. My family and I could not sit comfortably

Stayed Apr 2, 2021We enjoyed our stay at this small 2 bedroom house on a bush block. Views of trees. Short drive to beach. House was clean and well supplied. Nice rear deck. Timber lined so a bit dark inside. Did have a small bat inside which was a bit of a shock but it flew out when we left the doors open!

Stayed Jun 12, 2020A very pleasant place to stay, with a very effective wood heater and beautiful garden surroundings. The place itself has a nice 'lived in' feel – like staying in a friend's home rather than a hotel – which we loved (though may not appeal to everyone). Couldn't get any TV reception but no big deal when you're trying to get away from it all. We did have good phone data reception though (on Optus). There are lots of DVDs and videotapes (!) and books to delve into if you wish. An easy walk to Fairhaven beach or into Aireys Inlet, or a short drive to lots of other places for walks. Yet the location feels very much off the beaten track.

Stayed Nov 2, 2019Despite the lack of warm weather we enjoyed walks on the beach and the warm fire at night. Lovely restaurants close by.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This little timber cabin in a gully just back from the seascape is an absolute treat. We felt at home right away once we'd stowed our food and made our beds. It was a wintry, foul day so we lit the fire which had been set already. We played board games, listened to the host's music and blissed out. This cottage is close to beaches and the exquisite Surf Coast Trails. Behind the house is a lovely gully, and just uphill, I discovered some trails along the ridge, from which the views of Lorne, as well as the eastern beaches, are beautiful.
