The host was very welcoming. House was clean, comfortable and beautiful back yard.

Jane is an amazing host and her property was an absolute credit to her. It was very clean, well kept, bright and airy. The property is exceptionally fenced to contain our border collie and is a great size for him to explore and run around.The bed was very comfortable as was the lounge furniture and the bathroom water pressure. We hope we have the opportunity to stay again in the near future.

Well equipped house that was clean, comfortable and tidy. The kids and the dog enjoyed exploring the yard.

Jane was extremely helpful and answered my messages within minutes. House was very clean, had everything we needed for our short stay. Within walking distance to dog friendly beach and golf course is just around the corner, also within walking distance. Yard is very dog friendly, well fenced although the dog kennel was slightly on the small side for our irish wolfhound Would definitely recommend Jane's property.

The house was spotlessly clean, we were comfortable and had everything we needed. the check-in process was easy with instructions provided in lent of time. The property is very securely fenced front and back and my little furry friend very much enjoyed his space to explore. Would definitely stay there again.

Super dog friendly, spotless clean, quiet, c.ose to everything

A welcoming appointed house for both dogs and their human companions. Secure fencing and covered decks on the side, front and back of the house meant there there was always somewhere to sit and enjoy the garden.A great dog friendly beach close by. Our one regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the house and the area.

Was a lovely stay, the house is super clean and cosy. Nice garden and outdoor area. Only suggestion would be an outdoor heating option (patio heater, fire pit etc) so you can still enjoy the outdoor area in the winter months. Great location, close to everything. Our dog loved it too

Beautiful decor, everything you need, fabulous rear deck (incl BBQ and dog kennel - not needed this trip) facing lovely garden. Quiet neighbourhood. Ample off street parking for more than one car. Shampoo listed but not found (20 conditioners lol) neither needed as always travel with supplies. Our stay was to experience the Q Train (GREAT). House is very dog friendly with leads, bowls etc etc if you take your hairy child. Overall highly recommended. Would stay again. Thankyou.

Our second visit here with our little Kelpie Rusty. Fantastic place to curl up in front of the log fire after a brisk walk on the beach just down the road. We'll be back (again)

My friend and I and ours dogs had a lovely time. Plenty of time at the beach and exploring local attractions.

Could not fault this accommodation. It was all 3 adults needed. Clean, comfy beds and everything was there to enjoy our stay. Just a very short drive to all the local shops.Will definitely book again.

What a lovely place. So welcoming for us Ladies and my little dogs. The paved drive and the high gates meant my dogs could run around without worry. Very relaxing home not far from the beach. Just wish the weekend was longer. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Great place to come and spend a couple of days away from Melbourne and feel like you have been away for a week.The property was exactly as per the photos on the site. A Short stroll or drive to main part of town. Far enough away to be quiet at night. Especially as we had our four legged friend with us. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Communication was excellent, which is just as well as the accommodation had been neither disinfected nor sterilised. In fact, the previous guest's linen was still on the bed. Netflix allowed us to watch 1 episode of Cunk on Earth before logging off. The host was apologetic and explained how to log back into Netflix and how to access clean towels. Late on Saturday night.. As it happened, three of the four days I was in Portarlington were subjected to gale-force winds. I had arrived into a pink sunset after being buffeted all the way from Castlemaine. Just one day was calm enough to take my dog walking along the track beside the beach. It was so good to see the sea. Much of my time I was feeling anxious about the journey home, but I did get home safely, into a complete rainbow arch! What a joy.
