8 bedroom/7 bathroom 3rd row corner home, luxurious and family friendly

We stayed with another family for the week with 10 people. The house was very comfortable for this size group. We especially enjoyed the second story balcony with lots of seating and a gas grill. It provided amazing ocean views and wonderful star gazing opportunities! Because we were there during COVID we cooked every meal at the house and the kitchen is great. There are two of everything...2 refrigerators/2 ovens/2 dishwashers/2 microwaves...you get the picture. Now a little feedback..the house is dated and has a funky smell. There is carpet in the bedrooms which may be the singular cause of the smell. The rental company provides bare bones supplies in the house...2 bath towels/face cloths/hand towels per person for an entire week. 2 tiny soap bars per bathroom sink, no shampoo, no hair dryers etc. The bed linens and pillows are very poor quality especially given the high price tag. We have spent many summers on HHI and love it! With a little updating 7 Galleon could be an A+ but for now is a solid B+.

We had a wonderful family reunion on HHI and 7 Galleon was a perfect house for us. There were 14 of us staying in the house for the week. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. Bottom King room could use some shades that block the morning sunrise. We cooked all our meals in and the well stocked kitchen had everything we could have imagined. The house even provided an extra refrigerator. We had plenty of seating for meals and evening games. The upper deck seating worked out great. We were able to have a dinner on the deck(we brought folding tables) using the inside chairs. The view from upstairs gave us a great vantage point to enjoy the ocean. We had hoped for a view of the ocean from the pool deck but the vegetation has grown since the pictures were taken on the website. The pool area also provided lots of entertainment for our group. We had a wonderful week staying in 7 Galleon!

We just returned from a wonderful week at 7 Galleon! Beautiful ocean views from living room and deck and master! Other bedrooms had pool views or of pretty greenery. We cooked meals in or ordered takeout and very much appreciated the privacy the house provides! Big super stocked kitchen was great and included way more than I expected! Pool view is non existent so we did beach each day but plenty of space and most secluded stretch of sand we saw on all our walks! We enjoyed dinners from a raised area table overlooking living room with great view to ocean and drinks after out on deck. Screened in porch but really no view from there. Desperately need to trim back trees and vegetation ... would make pool and porches much better!! Home is large and clean and beachfront is best! Bring beach chairs and bikes or figure out how to rent once there!

For the price, these homes are in need of an update. The elevator was broken, one end of a towel bar was coming out of the wall and a globe over the bathroom sink was broken. It seems like these items should be reported by housekeeping. Very disappointing.

7 Galleon was most expensive house we had ever rented. It also was the most problematic one we have ever rented. Issues with pool, pool lighting, and trash left in pool area and around outside of the home upon arrival. Pool man came Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday but never completely resolved. Water pouring into garage on Sunday morning from a pipe broken loose from bathroom above which took all morning to be resolved. Large tv on wall in downstairs living room would not work even after cable man spent 21/2 hours there on Wednesday afternoon all over house wherever there was a tv located. Disappointing and time-consuming for those who had to supervise all these repair activities. Two pillows with pillowcases on bed in master suite. Many uncased pillows in each bedroom closet but no extra pillowcases to be found. Needs some love and attention for sure.
