The resort-style pool boasts a sunny North-East aspect, with a heated spa pool for the winter months and generous outdoor lounging and entertaining options. This space is complete with a chef's barbeque and outdoor kitchen for dining alfresco on those balmy tropical nights.

Comfortably accommodating 12 guests, this spacious home features six bedrooms spread over two levels. On the ground level are two Master suites, each with wall-mounted TVs, generous walk-in robes and en-suite bathrooms. One of these ground floor bedrooms features an outdoor free-standing bath and pathway to the pool terrace.

Upstairs features four generous bedrooms, each have walk through robes and share two en-suite bathrooms - both cleverly designed with private shower room and separate toilet. Three of the bedrooms have the option of either 2 Singles or a King bed, the fourth has a King bed.

Perhaps one of the standout 'hangouts' of the house is the media/family room on the upper level, overlooking the pool and palm tree-lined beachfront, complete with large TV, luxurious lounges, kitchenette and glass sliding doors that fully retract to welcome in the sea breeze. There is also a large, covered terrace on the upper level, the perfect place to relax with book or unwind with a wine.

There is gated access to the 6th hole of the Mirage Golf Course from the pool terrace.

    This home was the absolute perfect spot for our week long stay in Port Douglas! As first time visitors to Australia we were unfamiliar with the area of Port Douglas but wow were we impressed. The gated neighborhood, quiet peaceful community, and proximity to the main shopping and dining were all perfect! The people we met at every establishment were friendly and always happy and helpful. We had great communication with the property manager and no issues during our stay. A few pests ants came along and they sent someone right out to deal with them. The split floor plan and mix of indoor and outdoor spaces within the home was unique for us but we enjoyed it. Just a short 5 minute walk to four mile beach private access with beautiful views. So much to do nearby for families- we recommend breakfast with Koalas at Hartleys crocodile adventures, snorkel the Great Barrier Reef (we enjoyed Quicksilver Silversonic tour), drive the Daintree rainforest, hike the scenic Flagstaff Hill walking trail, breakfast with the birds at Wildlife Habitat, watch the sunset at Rex Smeal park, and so so many great dining options! There is a Coles just 5 minutes away from the home for groceries. We highly recommend this property and thank you for sharing this home with us!

    We recently stayed at 8 Beachfront Mirage to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. The house was beautiful - lovely spaces and enough room for 11 of us to spread out and have out own space. Most of our days and nights spent around the gorgeous pool as weather was very humid. Facilities were good - everything you need for a gorgeous stay.
