Stayed Jan 31, 2026My kinda place! The property is very serene with old growth cactus and plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy the landscape and East and West facing views. It's only 15 minutes to downtown so location-wise it's a win win.The beds are yummy. We slept very well. The shower is great. The kitchen is well appointed. The view from the kitchen window is epic!It was very clean, and smelled great.I will stay here again if given the opportunity.

Stayed Feb 20, 2025the place is an amazing home with a mid-century modern style. Greatly enjoyed the desert environment. The amenities are nice - good to be able to use the grill. The shower is also very nice. Only criticism is booking on vrbo entailed paying a booking fee on vrbo and vacasa, the company that manages the property. Book directly through vacasa to avoid this.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Sunrock on 8 Acres is a beautiful property. Off the beaten pathing private with a gorgeous view overlooking the city. With comfortable beds, great water pressure, tons of natural light and the amenities to cook/grill on site if needed. It has vintage charm and I’d highly recommend it for your next stay in Tucson.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024For the most part we enjoyed our 2-week stay at 2850 Sunrock Lane. The neighborhood offers privacy and relief from city traffic while still having easy access to Tucson. There are several desert hiking areas within a 10-minute drive; Old Tucson and the superb Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum are less than 20 minutes away. A pleasant patio looks out onto a “backyard” of natural desert vegetation and occasional wildlife. The scenic views from the home, especially of the Catalina Mountains to the northeast, are beautiful! However, viewing from inside the home is marred by dingy windows. The home heating system and available appliances are adequate except for the electric oven, which did not work. (The cooktop is fine.) The toaster and coffeemaker are exceptionally good. The bed and pillows in the master bedroom are comfortable. The home has a couple of annoying quirks. Frequent structural noises (daily expansion and contraction?) were infrequently loud enough to wake us at night. (These were not sounds coming from the HVAC system, which were not bothersome at all.) Also, adult males will find the water level in the toilet to be annoyingly high.

Stayed Mar 11, 2024The property is gorgeous. Did not need to sight see so much as we had the best of views right there. Thank you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We don’t really enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. This beautiful mid century house is snuggle among saguaros. You feel surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. The house and outside felt so quite and peaceful. It was only a short drive to saguaro national park. They have great hiking and ranger presentations. I’m already trying to plan our next trip back here.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I recently stayed here and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The photos of the listing don’t even do the space justice. The home was unique and beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The location felt remote and private, yet was close to all the amenities one might need. The home was also well-stocked with everything required for a comfortable stay, and was incredibly clean. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful escape in the desert.
