Our home sits in a large, quiet cove just 100 yards off the Main Lake. With over 160' of decked bulk headed waterfront, a 1400 square foot double boat house with fish cleaning station and sunning dock. You have everything you need to enjoy the sun and fun outdoors including 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, fishing poles and built in rod holder at the dock. Feel free to park your boat beside our boat house. Water gradually deepens from 1-2 feet at the edge up to 4-5 foot water depth at the end of the dock, perfect for the little ones to play and learn to swim. We are ten minutes from the Food Lion & other amenities. It is a quick boat ride to the restaurants, marinas, Goat Island and the Eaton Ferry Bridge.
The house offers a large yard in both the front and rear, perfect for outdoor games and evening bonfires in the fire pit (firewood is not provided). There is a large covered porch that offers beautiful views and has a full outdoor bathroom on the lake side of the home. The first floor hosts the livingroom/dining area with seating for up to 20 people, as well as 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The first bedroom is a queen with a half bath and the second bedroom has a king sized bed. There are 5 bedrooms on the second floor with 1 king bed, 2 queens, 4 twins and 2 double beds. All of the bedrooms have smart TV's. The game room is located on second floor, along with 2 additional bathrooms and a sitting room with a small library of books. Wi-Fi and Cable services throughout. 70” TV in living room, 55” TV in other living area.

This property was nothing less than amazing. The homeowner was the best I have ever encountered. He responds promptly, he was very attentive and accommodating the entire stay, his home was prepared with Xmas decorations and a tree. The home had a full kitchen of appliances, blankets, beds, cleaning supplies, etc. All I can say is this home met every expectation we had. If you have never stayed in this home you are missing out. My family and I will definitely be back to enjoy the summer festivities 2023 because we could not enjoy the outdoor activities and lake due to the weather. Thank you for having us

Fantastic time. Property is in a great location on the Lake. The owner is very responsive. Neighbors are great. Look forward to a return as our group of retired military get together one week a year to fish. For years we went to OBX. This year we decided we were going to give #lakelife a try and man did it ever exceed our expectations. This house has everything you need and then some. Most importantly it has the space for our large family to be together but not on top of each other. The huge dining room table is an amazing feature. We were able to fit our entire crew of 16 all at once for each meal - very cool. The back deck is the perfect place to go chill out after a meal or while sipping coffee in the morning. The dock is incredible and is where we spent most of our time. The water amenities (kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, noodles, floats, etc) are a huge plus as it gave everyone something extra to do. We brought our own floating mat and I highly recommend that to anyone with kids because they will stay entertained on it for hours. We hit the local putt putt golf and ice cream shop and both were great. We got take out twice and the food was delicious. The fire pit is where we ended every night and is the perfect chill spot to wind the evening down. The ice maker is an amazing addition because it saved us from having to make daily ice runs. Alan is a wonderful host. He was super responsive and very helpful. We met him and his wife as we were finishing packing up and they could not have been more pleasant. The neighbors beside them are also very nice and a joy to talk to when we saw them. All-in-all I give it a 10/10, would recommend to anyone but especially those with larger families and already looking forward to re-booking for next year! Thank you Alan!

Our group of ladies had a great time at this property The lake is just outside the back door almost. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our large group. We recommend it!

What a great week. We've been staying at Gaston and other lakes for about 11 years now and this was probably our favorite house. (OK, maybe a top deck to jump off of would have been the cherry on top but beggars can't be choosers). Great space, kitchen well stocked, tons of place to store things - no downside AT ALL to this property.
We decided this year to celebrate our son’s graduation with a week long lake house getaway! I am so glad we did! We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and clean, it had everything we needed. One of my favorite features was the lighting along the walls in the dining/living room! I would turn off the main lights and leave those lights on at night and it looked like it was straight out of a hallmark movie!! The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to messages! The neighbors were very friendly, we enjoyed our chats! We were able to get fire wood from the neighbors, so we could enjoy some s’mores and family stories around the fire which was one of my favorite memories from our trip! We borrowed my uncles boat for the trip but, ended up buying a boat while we were there! We stayed on the lake most of the time and enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and skiing! We had a wonderful time making precious memories!! We are definitely wanting to go back!! Everyone agrees this was the best vacation! Thank you so much Alan for sharing your home with us we are looking forward to 2022!!

Over the past 4 years my wife and other family and friends have vacationed in the Outter Banks this year we wanted to do something new by coming to lake Gaston and it was the perfect vacation a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings if you have a love for the water and outdoors lake Gaston is the place to be between the kayaks and paddleboat and long board we couldn't stay away from the lake my wife and I had never been kayaking before we enjoyed it so much withing 24 hours of returning home we purchased two kayaks for ourselves I would like to send a special thank you Alan for his gracious hospitality and for allowing to call his home our home for a week we had planned on bringing our boat bus wasnt able to due to it being in the shop for repairs Alan allowed us to rent his pontoon so we could still enjoy the lake this was an amazing experience and we loved every moment of it so much that we have booked again for 2022 and are very excited to go back thanks again Alan for all you did we cant wait to come back
