Stayed Jan 23, 2026The host was very welcoming and even allowed us a early check-in due to the storm coming. The only problems i ran into was the place was not cleaned very well. There was food stuck to the table and beside thesink and other places. One pilot on a furnace did not srat lit. Wasn't a big deal to me. Stairs were a little tough for elderly, but plenty of room. For having to pay 150 cleaning fee, you would expect ittobe a little cleaner. We had afood time though.

Stayed Oct 14, 2025It was a nice cabin in the woods. It was mostly what I expected when I booked it. We enjoyed the ping pong table and the grill. The kitchen is equipped well enough and the upper and lower floors were spacious. The pictures are technically accurate but they have been modified to make the property look lighter and brighter than it really is. A few things to note when booking this cabin (that didn’t affect us too much but may affect others)- 1) If you have a guest who is taller than 6’2” they will inlet hit their head on beams and fans in this property 2) the room with the three beds is downstairs and the stairs are small, steep and uncarpeted and inappropriate for those unsteady on their feet such as the elderly or small children.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025The actual cabin doesn't look like the pictures. There was no a/c and it got really hot especially on the very top floor. In addition, we had to take our garbage to town. The location was excellent and the scenery was nice. I did try to communicate with the host three times and he only responded to the first email.

Stayed May 23, 2025The house was adequate. For the price, I would have expected it to be cleaner (dirty: silverware in the drawer, frying pan, coffee maker, dish towel, etc., was dusty, and there was trash around the outside property. The grill was full of grease and dirty.) Aside from that, we had an enjoyable stay. The house was comfortable. The area is quiet with elk visiting the backyard area. There are several areas to relax on the porch/decks outside and the house is close to downtown and hiking trails.

Stayed Feb 6, 2025Clean home to stay in. Went to ski in NM with no snow in cloudcroft. Had to drive to a near by city about an hour away daily which made the trip hard. Would have been nice to be able to cancel with full refund due to the weather but the home itself served it’s purpose.

Stayed Nov 8, 2024We enjoyed our stay, only complaint was that previous people do not wash their dishes, they just put them back up in the cabinet, go to pick up a pan and the handle would be greasy, outside of the crock pot never been wiped off, etc.
