Stayed Sep 21, 2025The most amazing home we've ever rented! As a group of 8 friends wanting to stay in one place, there isn't a better option. We had one week of golf, but wished we could've stayed another week just to enjoy the house and the amenities. We would've lived a hot tub, but understand because of maintenance, why there isn't one there. Thank you so much for your attentive manner and resolution of a minor issue.

Stayed Jul 12, 2025Its quite apparent thst the owners tske great pride in their property. It is immaculate. They also have a Thorough understanding of what a renter would need. Everything we needed we needed was close at hand. To thoroughly enjoy this property i would recommend renting a pontoon. Really enjoyable lake with a pontoon.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025This is a wonderful property in a great location. The reviews are spot on and cannot really add much to what already has been said. We had three generations, 13 people (eight adults and five children, although two were 17 & 18). Just enough space inside for sleeping and I would agree with another reviewer who stated ten adults would be the max for comfort. If you are there for the water spend the extra 200 for access to kayaks, water boards, canoe and rowboat. Theatre room, bar, and game room are exceptional. Plenty of outdoor games are provided. Something for everyone both inside and out. We had people from ages 10-72, and all give Lake Tower Lodge a thumbs up. We hope to stay there again.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025I booked the Lake Tower Lodge for my bachelor party and wow was I happy with my decision. All of my buddies loved the place and it fit 10 of us perfectly. They have plenty of outdoor space and I loved that the bedrooms are separate from the main living area. We were able to pull our boat right up to their dock which worked out great. Lake Tower Lodge is a quality unique spot and would recommend to anyone looking for a get away with great golf super close by!

Stayed May 20, 2025My team and I were blown away at this home. The detail put into the craftsmanship and design/decor were amazing. Rental communication was top notch and instruction for arrival/departure and help during the stay were almost real time. Highly highly recommend for any small groups, families or people looking to enjoy where they stay as much as they enjoy being away. We utilized the theatre area as our training location and were easily able to hook up and do presentations. Kitchen was wonderful as well for meals. Bottom line is everything was handled down to every last detail. Very impressed and will stay again if we are in the area.

Stayed Jan 16, 2025The house was incredible. Definitely recommend for a group Trip with friends. The listing was a bit confusing as there are plenty of places to sleep but only 5 actual bedrooms. The only real inconvenience is the way they make you sign up for the insurance after you've already purchased it through VRBO. Otherwise house was great!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Stayed here with my extended family one week in July. This is an outstanding property. Booking was easy with excellent communication from the owners. After booking we had access to the most thorough (digital) house guide I’ve ever seen from a short-term rental, detailing all the areas and features of the property and local area. On arrival the house is impressive with plenty of parking in a big front yard with horseshoe drive. It's immediately clear the owners take tremendous pride. The house itself is very well appointed. It came with a lovely welcome basket and plenty of all the essentials we needed in the kitchen and baths including the key basics like towels, dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and TP. The beds and furniture were really nice and comfortable. Everything struck a nice balance between homey and stylish. Up a small spiral staircase is is the lookout tower room with a pullout couch and a lovely view. The main floor has 3 br, 2 with their private bath, and 1 common bathroom, each with showers. The forrest room also has a futon. Also on the main floor was a big kitchen and dining area, family room with TV, and a large deck overlooking the backyard. Downstairs is an impressively appointed bar, large theater room with about a dozen recliners and projector TV system, and a game room with tons of board games and a couple pinball machines. Also there are two bedrooms downstairs, both with ground floor windows, and a shared bath with shower. Downstairs also has direct access to a patio with an excellent large grill (with propane provided), patio furniture, outdoor games and a cool firepit (plenty of firewood provided). The house sits on a large wedge-shaped lakefront property with good privacy. In the back you’ll find steps down to a beautiful pier. We rented a pontoon and there is a boat launch less than a mile away and a public beach. It was easy to access and tie up at the pier. Fun fishing off the dock, caught plenty of little bluegill, perch, crappie, and a bullhead. Kids also jumped in and out of the water, not sandy bottom but steep and deep enough that they had fun. We also found 4 private beaches around the lake, each with sandy beaches and swimming platforms, that you can access by car or boat (owners provide association passes). There is also a couple of association features (pools, golf, lodges, sledding hill) that we didn’t end up using but are only ~10 min drive from house. Recommendations: We had 14 people including some younger and older kids and sleeping arrangements were a little tight. If your party is all adults I wouldn’t recommend more than 5 couples. If you do a lot of cooking you may want to bring a few coolers because the fridge/freezer space was a little tight for large groups (the wine cooler in the bar downstairs helps). There is great internet and lots of smart TVs (roku and amazon fire) but no standard cable or satellite TV, so come prepared with your subscriptions/passwords and you may need to ask the owners for assistance if some features are locked or you want to install new apps. We’d return in a heartbeat. Great property. Well appointed. Excellent owners. Also check out the pecan rolls at the appropriately named slice of heaven bakery nearby!

Stayed Aug 13, 2024This property is as advertised and more. A perfect blend of character and artistic detail with modern and practical functionality. We hosted 3 generations of our family and there was something for everyone. Dialogue with the owners was timely and pleasant. Highly recommend this gem of a property in Central Wisco, and for all the golfers out there, it's only 7 minutes from Sand Valley!
