We lease the fenced off portion on the west portion of the property to a local family for their daughter's beautiful horse. This fenced off barn and pasture area is off limits to rental guests both for your safety and the safety of the horse.
This was a great place to stay for our family. We met for Thanksgiving week and loved the stay here. Great house! Great views of Pikes Peak and great location! We loved the house and so many extras and amenities! We will be back and just loved it! Owner was also great to respond to any questions we had during the week. Great choice for us!
truly such a beautiful stay away!!!
Great place to stay. Unmatched views, close to trails and horseback riding. Easily accommodated our group of 7 in comfort. In the hills, but close to stores and points of interest.
We had an excellent stay this past week celebrating my in - Laws 50th anniversary. The View was spectacular. We got prompt response and a fox on the only issue we dealt with during the week. Only recommendation would to add a shower-head /handheld combo for the smaller master bed/ bathroom. Due to the shower being so small it’s hard to get a direct rinse or to shower without getting your hair wet due to the angle and lack of movement of current shower head. Otherwise this was an outstanding stay, would definitely recommend and even consider using again for future stays. And did I mention the view .. absolutely beautiful!
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! We had all the luxuries and more of home plus this huge story window with an amazing view of the mountains!! I can't say enough how wonderful this house was! We can't wait to go back and enjoy it again!
This was a great place for the family to converge as we celebrated our USAFA cadet’s last parent’s weekend. We got to enjoy the peace of the mountains, enjoy some great meals together and use the house as our base camp for our excursions during the day. Thanks for the hospitality!
we really enjoyed the home. We had a great time.Great location. We would stay again. Rick
Overall this was an awesome place. Had tons of space for the 2 families that shared the house (4 adults 4 kids). It was walking distance to red rocks and Troutman creek, both are worth while hikes when going with younger kids (4-8 yrs old). We enjoyed having a dishwasher to help clean up after meals and 2 separate living rooms. We spent 90% of our time at the house out front taking in the view and playing corn hole. We are already talking about a return visit.
Great stay and would recommend for family stay.
House was fantastic. We had 7 people and we all had our own separate space. House was clean and well taken care of. Everyone loved all the amenities, ping pong, games, fire pit, and the hot tub. Wife and I loved the master bath. Views every morning was great sitting on the porch drinking coffee and also seeing the hummingbirds play around or the deer walking through. Great location with only a 30 min drive to most attractions. If you are hesitant on booking this property, book it now you won't be disappointed.
My family - my husband and I, grown kids, and 8 year old granddaughter, LOVED our time at Kim’s house! It is spacious and has everything we needed. The ping-pong table, fire pit, and hot tub were all a big hit with everyone! I wondered how noise would travel between floors but it wasn’t an issue at all! The guys could be up playing ping-pong at midnight and we didn’t even hear it upstairs! Kim replied promptly when I had a question and was great to work with! We definitely plan to come back! Thanks Kim and family!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The views of Pikes Peak were amazing in the mornings.
The house was beautiful and the view breathtaking! The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Overall wonderful place to stay and awesome location.
From the moment we got there we loved this house! It was just perfect for the 6 of us. It is also in a really great location and we're going to miss the beautiful view of Pikes Peak. There were deer in the yard the day we got there. We would definitely stay here again!!
Perfect for family!!
We four celebrated our 70th birthdays here. We enjoyed the house because of all the reasons people come to Colorado—great views, easy access to amenities, beautiful opportunities to spend with nature. The house is so spacious and has everything guests could ask for.
Great views of mountains with ample room for 5 adults and 2 children. Manager prompt in responding to questions/concerns.
We stayed for long weekend with a group of 8 and had plenty of space for everyone. The host's communicated quickly and were very helpful. The views are stunning and watching the prairie dogs play was a blast.
We all were extremely pleased with our stay. The quiet location and easy access to Woodland Park was great. The home was very comfortable for 5 adults and 1 preschooler as there was plenty of space. The hot tub, ping pong table, outside firepit, corn hole game, etc were all an added extra. We saw several deer in the yard later afternoon. The location was only 25 minutes from Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs... The owner was always quick to respond. We definitely recommend this stay and would do it again!
This house and property were absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone. Very close to Woodland Park. Our kids and grandkids drove to Denver one day to go to the zoo and go to a Rockies baseball game. Lots of activities to do in the area. Don't miss out on trying the Donut Mill in Woodland Park. Delicious!!! Our family had a great time.
Our stay was wonderful. Communication was friendly and always quick. The house has everything you need and more, hot tub worked, views spectacular. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Kim was prompt with answering any of our questions or concerns before we arrived, and while we were at the VRBO. The hot tub was not working and she did her best to get an electrician there to fix it. Even though we weren't able to use the tub, she did what she could to make it right since it was something we were looking forward to. The house fit the 8 of us very well! Our kids loved having ping pong to play. The only thing we noticed that could be better was the edges and heater tops of the rooms swept. This didn't effect our stay...we enjoyed our time immensely. And appreciated all Kim did to make our stay so wonderful.
Great location! We enjoyed our stay in Woodland Park. It’s close to everything! Cute town.. next to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, etc… The house was so cozy! We had 3 people and plenty of room for a larger group. The master bed/bath is so relaxing. The view of Pikes Peak can be seen from the upstairs living room, downstairs living room, and bedrooms. The house is stocked with everything you need. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during our stay which was a reason we rented the home. However, the owners made up for it. The backyard has deer that pass by each night. A short walk down Centennial Trail will lead you to a state park with great trails. We had 2 dogs with us and they loved spending nights outdoors by the fire and the lovey setup for relaxing. They have cornhole boxes for fun! Downstairs is a ping pong table and lots of games too. The driveways is great because you can go to the first or second level. Great for traveling with someone who can’t do stairs easily! We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home for a cozy feel and adventure nearby!
