Sawyer's Sandcastle is an absolute gem. We've been coming to OKI for years and this might have been our best experience yet. The house is in a fantastic location for enjoying all OKI has to offer, close to Lonerider Brewery, the Point, and with a convenient beach access just steps away. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully appointed for families, and packed with amenities. Smart TVs in every room, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, covered decks with nice seating on both levels and both sides of the house, a golf cart, pool - and pet friendly! The incredibly responsive owner and property manager made for a smooth and enjoyable stay. And we appreciated the well beach shed packed with chairs, a beach cart, sand toys, pool floats, and more. The house also features stunning views of both the sound and the beach - meaning sunrise and sunsets are both spectacular. This property has everything you could possibly want to enjoy Oak Island to the fullest with friends or family.

House is exactly as advertised and wonderful. Communication with owner and property manager is 12 out of 10, checked in on us and if anything is needed response time was amazing. Location was great a block to the beach and also to the waterway. Great view from every porch. Had a great time seeing the island riding the golf cart. Thought it was especially thoughtful in the welcome package not only was there a gift card to the local restaurant but also a bag of dog treats for a fur companion. Will absolutely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here this week! (If only the weather was as nice as the accommodations lol!). I would absolutely rent again!

This property was amazing! The owners provide you with everything need and more. All of the beds were super comfy and the house was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The pool was one of our favorite spots! The location of this house is absolutely perfect, especially if you are a kayaker. The boat launch is practically in your backyard and was well loved by my husband. The beach access is across the street and easy to get to. The owners have provided you with several beach chairs and floats for the pool. This was absolutely one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at and plan to stay again next year.

This property was perfect for our large group of 11 people. The house had plenty of space for everyone to sleep, relax, and hang out. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, such as towels, linens, kitchenware, and Wi-Fi. We loved having access to the beach and pool items, such as chairs, umbrellas, toys, and floats. The beach and the pool were both just a short walk from the house, which made it easy to go back and forth. The house is also near a restaurant that offers live music on weekends, which added to the fun atmosphere. The music was not too loud and stopped at a reasonable time, so we did not have any trouble sleeping. The management was amazing and always available to answer our questions or help us with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing and fun vacation.

Perfect location for a group to stay!! A very short walk to the beach and the brewery next-door. Lots of people watching at the boat ramp. The pool was also a huge hit. Great experience!!
